Something I just love about this starscream is he shows zero fear and just yells whatever he wants at megatron. Plus he's actually competent, even though his plans do get thwarted most of the time but hey it wouldn't be starscream if they worked would it? There's also the fact that this one is 100% evil, he's not even traumatized or abused since tfa Megatron and starscream had a professional relationship, this starscream just wants power and we don't feel bad for him. We just love that he's evil and crazy while having the time of his life and failing most of the time😂
Literally you're right. I just got into TFA and I quickly realized into the 3rd episode or so that this version of Starscream (and the Decepticons in general) is very menacing and an actual threat. Like, my dude was completely willing and ready to hold hostages and kill said hostages in order to get the Allspark, that, and he actually nearly succeeded in killing Megatron. I think TFA Starscream might be my favorite iteration of him, tied with TFP.
