Nice video! I don't understand how you are using 1.5 oz in 60ft of water. Looked like the boat was anchored and not drifting. Is there not much current there? I fish the Lower Cheasapeake Bay by the CBBT and the current is really strong.
thanks! The jigs work best in shallow water and on a slow moving current like we had that day. There will be days when the current is ripping and I will have to go to a conventional sinker rigs to hold bottom. I would imagine the current at the CBBT can be too fast at times, especially on a full moon or new moon, as it’s the mouth of the Chesapeake that drains into the Atlantic.
