My brother spent about a total of 5 years in prison. I know all about the short phone calls and wanting to tell him something but he had to go for count and lockdown. Last December he got out and was drug free for about 5 months when he overdosed. His buddies tried to help him but by the time the ambulance came it was too late. damn, all that sad, I just got out of prison for 3rd degree murder, drugs, robbing, unlicenced guns, and assault on an officer. to all them kids out there that think they wanna be in a gang or be fast, it's not the life to choose. I was 19 when I got locked up, no mom no dad, so I was selling drugs at the age of 11, I'm out on probation from a 16 year sentence, I got out bc of good behavior.

So proud of you. I wrote songs for my brother while he was incarcerated ..... Helped him make $ that way so he could survive. I had written one or two while he was incarcerated about him coming home and being free as well. Lost one but managed to get the other to someone and they made a record... I choose to not want to remember the groups name.... The scars were to deep. I stopped writing for years and l am much older now... My vocal chords are kind of rusty lol. So everyone pray my pipes get back to a better state than years past. I want to be a blessing and an inspiration just a few more times. Seeing you do this inspires me and so last year l started writing again.... Did a CD with my seeds just one song and pray the gentleman that help us do it be fair and give us the demo soon. This is not about me it's about reaching and teaching and healing our communities one at a time... My music is not for me it's for you and all around... Pray for me... Thanks for those lyrics. My brother isn't your average prisoner in a cell with steel bars. He's a prisoner to drugs. Because of them I haven't talked to him in 1 year and 7 months. He never tried to reply to me, but he read my messages. I asked him to listen to this song and think of it in my point of view and about 5 days later he said he wanted to become clean.

damn, all that sad, I just got out of prison for 3rd degree murder, drugs, robbing, unlicenced guns, and assault on an officer. to all them kids out there that think they wanna be in a gang or be fast, it's not the life to choose. I was 19 when I got locked up, no mom no dad, so I was selling drugs at the age of 11, I'm out on probation from a 16 year sentence, I got out bc of good behavior.
