I just noticed that the backround in the final boss changes depending on who Saltbaker captures
It depends on who chalice would switch places with. So if you play as Mugman, and him and chalice would switch places with the cookie charm, he would be captured. For cuphead it's the same thing

It's a secret phase knockout I beat the secret phase today first try and it was this! How to earn it. The second phase make all four dogs not die but have black smoke

I think this assortment of bosses might be even more batshit insane than the ones in the base game.
Mugman is the new Luigi. Winning by doing absolutely nothing but shooting
All the 7 main bosses ranked by difficulty (in my opinion)
7. Devil and Angel (Hard but short so idk)
6. Moonshibe Mob (the true easiest one + it’s the first I beat in normal AND in expert with S score - about as hard as the 2 frogs)
5. Mortimer Freeze (reminds me way too much of Beppi the Clown lol. It’s the only one with M.M where I made an A score in the first time I beat it so yea both of them were pretty chill)
4. The Howling Aces (ONLY the last part, I guess the first 2 were easy but damm that screen rotation gave me some madness)
3. Esther Winchester (kinda annoying at some point but I still loved it and think it’s ok - about the same difficulty as the bird in the original Cuphead)
2. Glumstone The Giant (easily the hardest one except the final boss + It’s the only boss I didn’t really like. I just had some bad time with this mf - about as hard as the bee or the devil and I’m serious…)
1. Of course it’s the final boss Chef Saltbaker just look at this mf. I still think his battle is epic but he’s definitely in the top 3 hardest bosses in the ENTIRE game with the dragon and the robot !
His first phase kinda rigged sense there's so much going on and you have to dodge so much and then just get hit on accidentally
How is the devil and angel hard at all?

well, it's useless to speedrunners but it can garantee hits where it would otherwise be difficult to do consistent damage. and it has a better chance at hitting faster bosses unlike crackshot. so it has its uses. can't say the same for whitestone charm though
