@CptAmazing both great products.. How do you compare it to your Polish Angel? By the way this series is quickly becoming my go to show and tell. I have never seen those beautiful blue and green flakes in a black paint before and it's fabulous! Quick question what would it take to get rid of the water spots? Because if I was Rachel and I was getting ready to pick up my car I would be blown away after seeing what you just did. Then I would see the etchings and say "Eric I know I said all I wanted was an enhancement (thinking at the time, I don't even know what a correction or enhancement is but it must be less than what Eric was offery originally and I didn't want to spend the extra money, but now after seeing my baby looking like a show car, I want those spots gone) so what's it going to cost to give me the whole enchilada? Kyle, you can't really compare the 2. Polish angel is a league of it's own. But, compared to my cosmic spritz.. the only thing so far I can say is the Turtlewax Max wax is much slicker. But, like I said PA is just a league of it's own. 👍
Hey buddy! Obviously the Turtle has re-invented itself, and are not the low grade stuff they use to be. I think the chemicals they use are some sorta sub atomic nuclear particles melting down the clearcoat. Lololo!! Great video as always.
Smurf as always funny and great content. So you must have used 4 drops of T.W. on Rachels golf cart....lol. so damp cloth is my question...not for this application but for ceramic or graphene coatings in general. Thanks, Matt!!! So for traditional true coatings a damp towel is not needed. Idk if any true coating require a damp towel at all. I could be wrong but this Turtlewax is formulated to activate the polymers and set the base with water👍 typically if your fresh applying a coating or fresh enough maybe an hour or so you could use more coating and reapply to activate then buff off✊ if not, abrasive will be next option. Appreciate you watching my friend!
Hi Papasmurf. I have a question please.. 2 days ago my nephew used this exact product on my car BUT he used dry micro fiber towels to take it off after waiting a few mins. Im not happy about this finished job. It does not look like a nice wax job. Should i just go over it now with a water damp micro fiber towel & then finish it with a dry micro fiber? OR must i do something different? Please reply
Hey there! So what's the issue your seeing?? Is there blotches or does is look like it's streaked bad??? If so yes, wash and dry it SHOULD clear it up especially in drying stage. 👍 then you could re apply using the damp towel then dry towel 👍
Thanks for the video boss. How do you determine how much jump in gloss. Also chemical resistant need to test it out as the turtle wax ceramic claims that chemical resistant however one wash with a shampoo that claims to be ph neutral, broke down that protection.
Thanks for watching! Technically you need a gloss meter to put numbers behind gloss and to the eye you can't tell anything unless it's 5+gloss units to the eye... but my eyes can see the gloss! Lol to be honest I don't really care for chemical resistance cause it doesn't rain chemicals lol. I know the roads can have some chemicals on it and what not but throwing chemicals at a product tells me nothing. Lol I didn't see a change really in hydrophobics after the wash.. appreciate you watching!!
So I’m pretty sure there’s some filling properties in this wax and that’s OK because a lot of the wax is out there have that which is great for super fine swirls and scratches, Time will tell to see how this stuff holds up
According to the bottle it says it can be done by hand and by machine. Have you applied it by hand or just by machine? The pad you used in the video doesn’t look like the one that comes in the kit; what kind of pad was it you used and why not use the pad that came in the kit?
Paulz yes it can be applied by hand and I did apply by hand with the black applicator that came in the kit👍 very easy to apply by hand but I chose machine because its SO much faster to get around the car. Under the mirrors, door handles, tight spots that I couldn't get to I then applied by hand. The pad i used was just a Griots wax applicator pad.. didn't come in kit and I had used the black pad in the kit already lol. You could use the black finish pad in the kit to apply with machine if you choose that method but don't use it on the 1 and done compound stage 👍
On the bottle for the One and Done it says to finish it with a soft finishing pad; if it’s not the black one from the kit what can I use? And to clarify, if I do the Max Wax by machine use the same kind of black soft foam pad that comes in the kit?
@@wrightvideos2011 you can use any type of " finish pad " for sure. Most companies are black but not all. Like Rupes yellow pad or the ultra finish white pad ect.. yes you can apply the max wax with a finish pad or wax pad. Very minor difference between the 2👍

Great video ! , dont do this to me now , I may have to get the turtle wax graphene line up now lol. I actually just finish putting the last coat black ice and last coat 2 topper on my bmw. I prep the car with car pro essence and I gotta be honest with you the slickness and gloss is mind blowing , first time I pulled the car out of the garage was insane . Its a deeper type of gloss. I was so impressed with the product that I just got the last coat AMP delivered to my house today , How would you compared this product to the last coat line up? . I still have more cars that I can do. Turtle wax ceramic spray was pretty good but the last coat was a bit better
Ricardo that's awesome man! And thank you very much! The TLC line up is awesome.. my Honda has Black Ice.. topped with TLC2 and AMP.. I can say that the gloss and shine is like no other but it lacks hydrophobic properties. Its just not the most hydrophobic coating.. what's weird is when I used TLC2 as a stand alone it was much more hydrophobic🤔 kind of threw me for a loop lol .. but this Turtlewax Max wax is soooo good. I haven't seen hydrophobics just yet but will soon have car back for a 1 month update and we will see!
@@PapaSmurf918Detail I guess its a good thing my car usually doesn't see the rain or snow lol. I actually applied TLC2 to my Cadillac as a standalone and it is hydrophobic so far. I find myself washing the car almost everyweek now, its therapeutic during lockdown so shine and slickness are priority . The TW graphene line is so tempting but its a bit on the expensive side compared to their other products. If you had to pick one on looks TLC vs TW graphene which one takes your vote?. Not saying one is better than the other one , but if it was just base on looks
That's great your taking care of the vehicle man! Propper maintenance is key.. and totally understand the therapy aspect of it.. I really enjoy turning on my music and just washing ✊ if I HAD to pick I'd go Turtlewax for sure. Its slicker and the depth and gloss and shine edge over the TLC2 👍 black ice is initially slicker but after the first wash it faded quite a bit. Turtlewax gets my vote!
@@PapaSmurf918Detail I see , wow I may actually have to buy their line up in one of the upcoming paychecks lol. As much stuff as I have , I always find something new that I need. Chad, yes. You can absolutely apply a spray sealant on top.. the Flex wax would be ideal for topping however anything would work. The Flex wax has same chemical background and will prob bond the best with the Max Wax👍
BigJizz, absolutely man, I really enjoy taking something trashed and bringing life back into it! This thing is a prime example of something someone would think of it's done, won't look good again. Then Smurf rolls along and POW! These New Turtlewax pro line are awesome too. Really enjoyed working with this MaxWax! Appreciate you watching man!
Lucas, it doesn't really state. Which I don't mind cause I find people tend to think if the bottle days " 6 months " then they need to get 6 months lol. I'd prob say 6-8 months with proper maintenance.. I'm happy with anything that can give my 6 solid months👍
I usually stick around 3.5 on my maxshine Polishers.. if I'm using my G9 I'll be speed 4 or 5. I want the backplate to spin not stall, and too low of speed it will stall and I don't like it haha. I like to spread and massage wax into paint even. For that I keep the backplate spinning 👍
@@PapaSmurf918Detail true true ... I'm moving from old polishers into the da , so not much familiar with them. Just placed the order for the pro 1 and done and the wax to max today. They've been out of stock so been waiting since last week , cause didn't feel paying about 12.00 (total) more at amazon and the wax said "used like new" Rather make sure I get a full bottle and no diluted or something 🤣
Haha Like new wax!? Yeah I don't blame ya! Crazy they been sold out too. Stuff is good though so I bet they went through a lot of sales. As far as coming to a new DA.. you'll be just fine around a medium speed. Light pressure just make sure to get good even coverage.. 👍

The paint looks slick.
I just shot an update vid and it's very slick! Still glossy as all get out!
Looks awesome man cant wait to try it out 🤘🏼🤘🏼👌🏼
Mn, man I was sooo impressed by this Max Wax! Cant wait to get it back for a 1 month update vid!!!
Did you try some acetone on a cloth on the superglue? I used it to remove superglue in other stuff.rub gently usually softens up pretty quick.
Kevin, unfortunately I don't have any acetone but I appreciate it! Few people suggested that so I'll note of it!!👍👍
Hi Papasmurf.
Does this product have the uv protection like the hybrid ceramic spray?
Yes, it sure does!👍
Thanks for the video boss.
Allrighty then....smurf has left the building.
😂😂 Smurf had to leave the building to recover from this One man! Tiny little car and man did it kick my butt!!!
So I’m pretty sure there’s some filling properties in this wax and that’s OK because a lot of the wax is out there have that which is great for super fine swirls and scratches, Time will tell to see how this stuff holds up
Tim, I don't believe there is fillers in the wax. To my knowledge there isn't.
Very minor difference between the 2👍
Those Rag Company blue towels? 300 gram?
Yes sir! Edgeless 365's👍👍 from The Rag Company..
Does it work for nano-ceramic coated car?
It will probably work as a topper to a coated car... but, for a topper I'd opt for the Flex wax.. easier to apply 👍👍
is it better than Flex (spray version)?
in term of gloss
I feel like the flex wax is the superior product out of the 2. Hey, thanks for taking the time to watch!
I'm still on the fence on this. We'll the 2 the max wax anyway. I have yet to see this used on a bright red car :-/
Sean, so far in loving this stuff.. haven't had that red car just yet but I imagine it would work just as good!!✊ appreciate you watching!!!
Hey brother, put something on that plastic that's faded. It's really bothering me.
Larry🤣 I did man... trust me I couldn't look at it anymore than you could!! Hit it with Carpro perl👍
@@PapaSmurf918Detail Great job using the Turtle my friend. Two thumbs up for you.

@@PapaSmurf918Detail I'll be here.
another great video and product review Papa..sad that u need 2 emphasized about being or not being sponsored. Thanks Richard!!! I appreciate the kind words.. yes unfortunately you gotta emphasize for those who think just cause a was sent something doesn't mean ima say it's good if it's not haha. Always give my honest opinion and feedback 👍
8ve used it and luv it sluckness and shine us insane
Oh for sure! Great product here by turtlewax! Thank you for taking the time to watch!✊️

Thanks for going easy on them Humberto 🤣👍✊
@@PapaSmurf918Detail 😅
Its an addicting hobby that is for sure. After my last purchased I always find myself telling me that's it , you are good for a long time , 2 weeks after I purchase something new or find an excuse to purchase something I need . Hopefully you do a follow up with this turtle wax graphene , I m very interested on pulling the trigger. I was very impressed with the turtlewax ceramic spray on my suv already. Funny the a few years back turtlewax was not even on the rather of good detailing products
@@ricardogutierrez722 haha that's how it goes man! My products got products and its addicting! I say the same thing oh I'm good for a whiiiile... oh hey a new shampoo! Lmao yes I will be releasing episode 3 next Saturday which will be topping the car with Flex Wax👍👍
Will you be able to apply a spray sealant on top of this or no?
Chad, yes. You can absolutely apply a spray sealant on top.. the Flex wax would be ideal for topping however anything would work. The Flex wax has same chemical background and will prob bond the best with the Max Wax👍
Is this going to be as good as soft99
I honestly have never used soft99.. so I can't state if it's better or not my friend. My apologies!!
What speed do you use when applying the wax?
I usually stay around speed 3 maybe 3.5.. I like to keep the backplate spinning to really massage the wax in👍
Spread it out let haze the idea damp towel then take another dry towel. Ugh it the shine and slick ess is insane theglosd and shine
You've got it! Yup, this stuff really sets up nice and the gloss is awesome! Appreciate you taking the time to watch! 🤜🤛
The nice thing about correcting a car that is that hammered 🔨 is all though it my not come out perfect the change is so dramatic
How long is this stuff suppose to last?
Lucas, it doesn't really state. Which I don't mind cause I find people tend to think if the bottle days " 6 months " then they need to get 6 months lol. I'd prob say 6-8 months with proper maintenance.. I'm happy with anything that can give my 6 solid months👍
@@PapaSmurf918Detail I completely agree thank you for respond!
@@lucashaller2330 not a problem my friend! Take it easy!🤝✊
Recommended speed to use when spreading it with the DA?
I usually stick around 3.5 on my maxshine Polishers.. if I'm using my G9 I'll be speed 4 or 5. I want the backplate to spin not stall, and too low of speed it will stall and I don't like it haha. I like to spread and massage wax into paint even. For that I keep the backplate spinning 👍
@@PapaSmurf918Detail true true ... I'm moving from old polishers into the da , so not much familiar with them.
Just placed the order for the pro 1 and done and the wax to max today.
They've been out of stock so been waiting since last week , cause didn't feel paying about 12.00 (total) more at amazon and the wax said "used like new"
Rather make sure I get a full bottle and no diluted or something 🤣
Haha Like new wax!? Yeah I don't blame ya! Crazy they been sold out too. Stuff is good though so I bet they went through a lot of sales. As far as coming to a new DA.. you'll be just fine around a medium speed. Light pressure just make sure to get good even coverage.. 👍
@@PapaSmurf918Detail yeah, I'm guessing someone bought it to test and didn't like it or something and returned it.
But I'm always skeptical about certain things like that, my head goes beyond thinking what shady people can do , even for a couple bucks

You did a great review on a company that I admire.👍 However, frankly I'm not impressed by Turtle Wax. I just think that they needed to push the Graphene thing the earliest they could to compete with the market. I applaud them on this but I'm just not sold yet.
Thanks Ed! Yes, Graphene is new and unfortunately its the new craze... just like Si02 and the spray coating when they came out. From my understanding they have over 2 years into developing this stuff so hey why not give it a shot👍 I just want a product that works😄 appreciate you watching my friend!
@@PapaSmurf918Detail I just might want to try the Flex Wax, I'm chronologically challenged you know.😊
@@edruiz6364 the Flex wax is impressive.. but I'd say the MAX wax is key, topped with the flex is a very....very awesome combo👍👍

@@PapaSmurf918Detail I'm sure you are objective but as a viewer, the optics are an issue (I.e. the massive Turtle Wax flag hanging in the background). I had the same issue with car reviewers who would get paid trips to exotic locations then we are supposed to believe they are not biased in any way.
