When I finish my theater update/renovations this winter I'm going to have to replace my Berklines. They are just worn out and falling apart after many years of use. These are definitely on my list.
Nice. The 6 or so videos I’ve seen suddenly show up about these are all positive.
Seats looks lovely.
Also, the house appears to be coming on well in the background. :-)
The house is definitely getting there. We're weeks away from being done. I'll be shooting an update soon.
They look sooooo goood!!!
Those look to be super quality.
The new headrests are atrocious!!! They cheaper out and now the seat is bad for longer torsos or taller people over 5'11"
Looks like you've been busy mate, I can't wait to see it all done. I've got my set up to where I want it now, my LFE base management is so good now, in my main seat it feels like I'm sitting on a subwoofer at times, my seats lay back too and with some LFE I can feel the sound waves go through me, sometimes I get butterflies in my belly from it, it freaks me out lol.
Definitely getting Valencia for my next seats but probably a their piacenza or Verona since I like a plainer look to the seats
Yeah those both look very nice too.
Hi! We also have the Modern Oslo design that just came out!
how heavy is the frame/bottom piece? About to order some and was wondering if I can solo carry the bottom piece to the second floor (media room)? Install looks pretty easy.
It's about 80 percent of total weight I'd say. I've Carried them upstairs and it's a 2 man job and it is a job!
Now do me a favor and hit my affiliate link (in the video description) to get to the site when you place the order... 😂🙏
Wow! They look really nice! A dream to have in my home theater 😍👌
They are definitely the best looking seats I've personally had and very comfortable.
Just ordered these in a 3
I want them so bad
Fantastic video education! Maybe unrelated to the seats, but do you have/can you point me to any video commentary:
1. That describes how to size speakers for any given room dimensions?
2. That describes if the choice of sound format dictates differences in how one sets up speakers? You have elected to use Atmos but many of us have elected to use Auro-3D.
3. That describes how to set up a single center channel speaker that is placed behind an acoustically transparent screen (Seymour)? For example, is it beneficial sonically to place insulation around the gaps between the concrete wall and the center channel?
Thanks for all the detail in this video, now I know what to expect when mine arrive. They are on the way! Well, at least thirteen of them are, not sure why the last one is being shipped separately. They said three to five business days yesterday so worst case should be next Thursday.
Hi there! Please feel free to email me with your order # and I can make sure you're on track! molly@valenciatheaterseating.com
@@ValenciaTheaterSeating Dennis Dang has it under control. Thanks,
Monte.
Dis you get yours? How do you like them and how tall are you? Just curious if a 6’2” person would fit well
@@uneCENT Well I got 13 of the 14 I ordered, it will be mid January before the last one comes in. I wasn't very impressed with how Valencia handled the situation but the seats are great! I'm only about 5'-10.5" and I have plenty of extra room in the seat. A friend of mine is also about 6'-2" and they work fine for him too.
Just purchased some a few weeks ago and I love them! Quick question. Did you do anything for the leather rubbing sound that normally happens when you break in? I’m having an issue with that and even tried cleaner and conditioner but still when reclining can hear the leather rubbing on each other. Yours seem soo quiet!
I don't really notice that on mine but with others I have. I've heard of some using baby powder.
@@hometheatergurus I reached out to Valencia and they’re sending me some leather lubricant. Thanks for the reply!
@@atticus182fob awesome. I didn't know they had that. Now I do. Thanks!
Thank you for the detail review. Can you tell me the size of the inside of the cup holder?
How much
LInks are in the video description.
I'm 5'6". Will my feet touch the floor in the upright position?
My wife is 5'3 and hers almost touch but not quite. I'm 5'11 and they do with no problem. So at 5'6"...maybe but can't say for sure.
how comfortable is it to lay across the seats for a nap? The raised supports of the seats have me worried it will be bumpy and uncomfortable.. but I nap every day in my couch, laying across the seats.
Hey Jon, so I just went in the theater to test this for you..:). There's no noticeable bump at all and it feels nice and flat. with a 3 seat wide layout you could easily catch some ZZZZs.
@@hometheatergurus Wow! I really appreciate the time you took to help me out! I was going to order the oslo before you said this but my heart was originally with the tuscany. Thanks a lot!
Awesome. If you would can you use my affiliate link? I get a small kick back. us.valenciatheaterseating.com?sca_ref=503230.QWO7xISsSg
Are you adding transducers under the seats for tactile response?
I have wired for them here and in the theater. They're one of those things that once you have its hard to not have.
I don't mean to be rude, but why is there a long crack in your floor?
haha, not rude at all. it's common to have small cracks in very large slabs if they're wide and shift you have problems. the slab is 100' long so as the concrete cures it loses water and will shrink so that has to come from somewhere . Any micro settling will also cause that in large slabs. Often grid patterns are cut in concrete floors like this to give the cracks that may happen somewhere to run. This is why you see outdoor slabs like patios and driveways with joints so the concrete won't crack where you don't want it to. We call it character. :) . We actually like the look.
@@hometheatergurus I thought it looked great!
Thanks! As cheap as they were $600 DIY we can definitely live with it! 😁
I just noticed that every video I have watched, the seats have a front and back ratchet to attach the seats. I just setup my row of three, and they only have one ratchet per seat. I wonder if that is a new design?
hmm.. I'm not sure but yeah these do and they bite with a vengeance. On carpet they aren't needed IMO but they helped big time when they were in the room I shot the video in. They're in the theater now and I didn't connect the to each other.
@@hometheatergurus I sent Valencia a message about it. I'm sure they will be able to help. Thanks for the reply.
