I remember the old Slam Door stock on that route. Hurtling along in the pitch black between East Tilbury/Standford-Le-Hope and Pitsea on those old trains was flipping terrifying!
There are three subclasses of 357, however there doesn't seem to be much difference between the 357/0s and 357/2s other than the /0s are owned by Porterbrook and the/2s by Angel. 357/3s are high density with more standing space
Nice to see you taking a ride on the Class 357 and Class 720/6. I do like the Class 357 and the Class 720/6. And I use c2c quite a lot. I wish that c2c would sort out some stations including Basildon, Stanford-le-Hope and Purfleet.
I may not be a bird nerd, but appreciate enthusiasm in all its forms (recently back from 2 weeks watching ski jumping in Germany and Austria, and of course train nerding).
357a are really nice for a 20 year old train (think 357 vs 376). Not too sure about the destinations though... As for the new livery 357s, I think it adds a really nice splash of colour to an otherwise plain train
I use c2c lots of times as I live near Basildon and the Class 357s are very nice trains. Same with the Class 720/6. And some of the Class 357s are getting a refurbishment. The only downside is that some passengers do put their shoes on the seats and I’ve seen some people doing that and I think it’s unacceptable. But I still like the Class 357 and Class 720/6.
I went on the C2C network today and didn't see any 720's, do they no longer work on Saturdays anymore because last time when I was at Barking I didn't see any in service.
The Class 357s still have got a lifeline and c2c have maintained them very well since Bombardier (now Alstom) manufactured the Class 357s back in 1998.

Another great adventure done

Think the Union Jack was an addition to the 2012 Olympics I think but don't quote me on that but a excellent video
I've been on a class 357, but not yet on a 720, but I was on a class 720 by Greater Anglia.
My favourite train with c2c is class 357/3.

C2C 720s don't work on Sundays, but on Saturdays, they do.
@ukrailspotter21 But I was at Upney and Barking stations yester and did not see any!
Do a fleet review for Chiltern
I was watching C2C Class 387s yesterday, and I was wondering when a C2C fleet review video would be made. A Convience I say. Lol.
I'll have to admit. The 357 may not be the best elextrostar. But it is the best train in Stepford County Railway. ~ Sean

SCR fans:
class 357 are out dated rolling stock for c2c
They're only 20ish years old. An Old train would be a train like a Class 483.

Outdated? No. Just in need of a refurbishment. Incredibly fast trains they are.
they are still reliable and are getting a refurbishment
Scr noob train
they are good trains, it's just the players that ruin it
@Electrostarboi207 fair point. I prefer the 170 which looks very similar but it's diesel instead
@UKTAG2 i agree i like diesel thrash but i prefere 168s for basically no reason
