I almost bought a Frame TV when it was on sale at Costco last month. Alas, it didn’t fit my budget so I opted to buy a plastic tub from your newsletter instead. Good show, as always.
I really luxuriate in the footage of your property, all misty, woodsy, well-maintained. Thanks for sharing it. Short of coming to a party it's the next best option. I perhaps ridiculously worry when you drag a branch or saw a limb based on the hernia you mentioned earlier in the year. All good there? If so, I'll exhale. Cheers.
Thank you. Turns out after many doctor visits it was not hernia. It was... nothing? It just ended up going away. Extremely weird. But I am basically back to normal.
I don't think I am nostalgic for typewriters. I remember using them as a kid and hating it. I think it just looks cool and I am terrible at hand writing notes.
COOL VIDEO. You are the coolest dude I follow, tech savvy too. I've been on your show, but haven't had a question lately. I had 7,335 minutes on Spotify. But yea, 10X that easy on Podkicker podcasts. My bands are Dream Theater (cool video IN the Wrapped by them) and Tangerine Dream to name a couple.
Someone needs to do an Orson Wells/War of The Worlds type broadcast announcing that tiny aliens are flying around in their spaceships disguised as drones just to screw with us.
lcd! nice. re: music streaming & year end lists.. yes, not so fun once you think about it for a bit. also useless for those of us playing records and stuff. but what i do is take a photo of my most played records and tapes of the year, just lay them all out on the floor and send my "wrap up" photo to friends, ha
We have a couple of Frame TVs at home. I have a small one mounted on the wall in front of my desk. I upload a lot of my favourite photos to it, and in also cast to it. Which is how I’m currently watching Hotline 41 :) But you’re right the UI is grindingly slow and if you aren’t connecting to it using the app on a regular basis, it’ll ultimately appear unreachable. Every time that happens I do a bunch of random sh*t until I somehow magically re-establish a connection. Samsung doesn’t do software well :(
Dance Yourself Clean is the soundtrack to the most beautiful ski sequence here - ua-cam.com/video/1-VCWUtNm-4/v-deo.htmlsi=edcCSp6PhiR88HfA - thoughtful Hotline once again Noah, but I'm afraid we'll have to disagree about mayonnaise.
Cool video, Noah. Keep it going!
Super cool video 😎

That crate is a stepping stone to the Frame TV. Just a matter of time.
@ indeed. I splurged and got the large divider set.

Pretty on the outside and so ugly on the inside.

that's a cool video. i was unaware of city street freestyle skiing but now that's my afternoon watching every one ever made.
I think they're our military and I think it's a search. I think they're searching for something.
searching for signs of intelligence which is why they keep coming back every night.
Cool video!
Cool video 😊
