Hey guys! I have decided to re-record the explanation for です thanks to some feedback on the last video!
This is hopefully a much clearer explanation for how to use です for all level learners! Hope you enjoy!

Are you aware that your channel is currently classified as "Made for kids"?
Because of that I cannot activate notifications. Is there another way to get notified when you upload new videos?

@@angelodou oh wow really? No i had no idea! I have purposly NOT set the channel as for kids, because its not. Looks like UA-cam bots have just autoflagged it that way since it covers video games? Damn that sucks! Thanks for letting me know! In terms of updates i do post all video links to discord so people can get notified that way as well.

man, i thought to myself "です is easy, i've been using it basically since the beginning of learning, but i really enjoy your way of going through things, so i'll watch it anyway" and i actually learned so much on top of what i thought was all there is to know about です! like the である bit, but especially the っす part!

Does anyone know where I can read manga like Dragon Ball etc. Fully In Japanese for free? Thought it would be a nice way of some extra immersion, especially because DB for example has furigana. Thanks in advance!

I'm not talking for the community or Matt, but I guess that once you have a feet in the door (of Japanese) via learning N5-3, you have higher chances of not needing (as "by all means") video explanations. At this point you might be able to read Japanese ressources. :)

@@PunkHerrWell, presonally I took classes in Japanese and studied in japan for a couple of months. But now my life is mostly focussed on other things, so I have almost no time to practise or read Japanese. But the basic N5 and N4 grammar is locked in my memory forever, whereas it would be nice to slowly learn some new more advanced grammar in a casual way

N5, N4 and N3 are the most important levels since they will let you understand at least 80% of the language

@@TOAKSuriFox but they are also a lot easier to learn, whereas it would be very helpfull to get some videos on more obscure grammar
