    Is there a time limit within which we can apply for jobs following MRCOG ? Like is it something like we must apply for jobs within 1-2 years of clearing MRCOG exam? Asking a doctor who has done MS OBG in India but doesn't want to go the UK in the recent future but definitely few years later. Please do reply. It would be of great help.

    Hi ma'am,
    I cleared IELTS exam recently . Since all the plab 1 seats for 2022 have already been booked , I am thinking of attempting and clearing the MRCS exam for obtaining GMC registration. I completed by internship 10 months back , but have only been working for the past one month . Is it a good idea to give MRCS directly , while waiting for plab seats ? Please guide ma'am .

So I booked for the September MRCS part a exam and I have my exam in about a month. I have booked the February plab 1 seat also. So after MRCS part A and plab 1 , if i pass both , I will then decide on what to do next , whether to attempt MRCS part B ( riskier , but cheaper ) or to go for plab 2 ( safer , but expensive )

    I had a question related tier 2 visa, since you said you have travelled European countries, i wanted to know did you travel on tier 2 visa or you have to apply some other visa to travel?

    • @gloriaalva8781
      @gloriaalva8781 2 роки тому +3

      Tier 2 visa is for United Kingdom which consists of England , Wales , Scoltland and Northern Ireland. For Europe you have to apply for Schengen Visa. But once you get British citizenship your British passport allows you travel and be in Europe upto 90 days. Before Brexit you could stay longer like an extended holiday if you had friends and family in Europe but now limited to 90 days.
      Europe is very beautiful but if money , time and others are a constraint UK is very beautiful and there are a lot of fun activities which you can enjoy. Wales and Scotland have a lot to offer in terms of nature and beaches and castles and hiking and adventure. In fact the Edmund Hilary - the gentleman who first climbed the mount everest with Tenzing N. had trained in a base camp in snowdonia mountains
      Obviously nothing can replace Eiffel tower if it is your desire to see that.
      Best Wishes to you.

    Are all medical colleges listed on WDOMS eligible or PLAB or gmc registration? Please help.

    • @gloriaalva8781
      @gloriaalva8781 2 роки тому +2

      Dear Aman.
      Yes. All medical colleges on WDOMS are eligible for PLAB and subsequently GMC registration.
      ONLY and ONLY those medical schools/colleges listed in the WDOMS can sit for PLAB.
      There are some medical colleges in certain parts of the world , if you qualify from there, their medical degrees are not approved by GMC. So they will not be able to sit for the PLAB, meaning they cannot work in UK as a doctor and will not be able to work as a doctor. Why is that - only GMC can answer that but usually they have a reasonably good reason.
      Hope this answers your query.
      All the best.
