Hi…we are doing the same cruise in June. Had a question for you or anyone else who has done it. We are going to be booking tickets back to London and not sure what time to book. How early do you get off the ship and how long is it (as an American) to get through customs? Thx! Btw…We are from Charlotte (Mooresville) as well.
What a coincidence, we are from Mooresville too! We loved this trip so much. I don’t remember exact but we were off by about 8:30am. It didn’t take long to get off the ship. They usually start de-boarding by 6:30-7am and if you want to carry your own luggage you can get off at anytime otherwise you have to wait for them to call your section. We took a 9:30am train back to London and had plenty of time. I will say it was PACKED. Ended up having to stand up near the train doors with ours and other passengers luggage stacked up because there were no seats left and only overhead storage. Not sure if there were multiple ships or events going on or if it’s normally that crowded departing South Hampton.
