Blaze mom did an amazing job bro. Kudos. Your son seems so well mannered, just a lil gentleman and I hope u give blaze’s momma her flowers 💐 she was I’m guessing 15 when her family just up and left the country? That had to be tough on her. Tough
Brad, please don’t forget that none of these comments really matter. The only opinion you should really listen to is Blaze‘s opinion. He is the only one who can judge about you being a good or bad father. But from what I saw in your first video with Blaze, he really appreciates spending time with you. People are so cruel. Gross behavior. Thank you for putting yourself out there to really show your son how much he means to you and your world. Folks like to share their misery. It's a shame. So happy for you and your squad. Bask in the joy.
I find that often people who are cruel ( especially on the internet behind their keyboard) lack something whether it's empathy or just have a sad life because they can't connect. I pity them more than anything. I also kinda side-eyed the dad for responding to the message 3 days later ( it was just a thought. I didn't write a message or anything negative) but I'm glad he cleared that up because his explanation totally made sense. It's a learning moment for me. To stop judging immediately without having the full context of a situation. I wish dad and son all the best.
Your story gives me chills. I cried and i laugh. I don’t watch movies because life stories are much better and real. I am glad that UA-cam algorithm brought the meeting with your son to my attention. I am so happy and have hope for so many other parents to connect with their precious children. Be happy, be well Brad and Blaze. This is a beautiful story and Blaze is a very courageous young man. Having a child at 16 years old couldn’t have been easy. A 16 yr old is still a child. This story made my day. Thx you for sharing.

I'm crying 😭❤️ Congratulations on meeting Blaze. Thank you for this video. My father was searching for us, and my mother kept moving us around. When we finally found each other, I met my father at the age of 14. The mothers who keep their children away from their fathers are pathetic and sad. Now, my son has his father's number and knows where he is, but unfortunately, the father does not want to know my son. He told my son that he has his own family now.
The past is the past. Your son looks so well balanced. And that's such a blessing. You're so young, you have so many years left to enjoy your relationship with your son.

For the part where you addressed the only option you had, I loved it. Youre absolutely correct. You either try your best with what you're given, or you give up and stop caring. Your method of caring was the best for you! YOU did not give up on hope, him and yourself. That's what matters. And now at the end of the day, what matters is the both of you and the family!
Thank you for sharing your mom and your sister is awesome. Your story brought tears to my eyes. Continue share your story because there are many fathers and mothers need to hear your story because as a mom, I believe both parents should always work together for the best interest of their children. Wonderful story. Everything is settled now, Brad is still a very young man , very handsome as well. On this side of the screen it felt like i was part of it, knowing Brad's friends and family, all the beautiful messages. Ignore the haters. We can see that Blaze is over the moon meeting his dad. Hi Brad, so great to hear this video along with your mom and sister. It is great to hear their thoughts about reuniting with Blaze after so many years. Blaze is an incredible kid, so glad that you were all able to reconnect and now have a close relationship with each other.

You know what? Those haters need to walk a mile in your shoes. From what I saw, you and Blaze have an amazing bond. It looked like the two of you never spent a day apart! I hope you get to see each other more often!

Sweet to see a family reunion, my Dad had a similar experience he discovered in his later life he had an entire family in Estonia and was able to meet them including cousins and an aunt.
my parents got divorced when i was almost 2 years old and my brother was a few months old...my mum also kept my dad away from us and told us horrible lies about him. we had minimal contact w him and when we visited him once when i was 14 (just like blake lol) in another province bc he lived across south africa and i lived on the tip. i moved in w him after learning the truth and long story short, im 18 y/o finishing highschool and crying while watching both videos bc it is so heartwarming
My mother kept me from my dad. When I was 20 I moved in with my grandmother, I pushed to find out something. I finally got her to tell me where my dad's mother was. I finally met my dad and found out he tried but my mother kept moving around all over the states. I met a sister I didn't know I had. There was no logical reason for my mother would hide anything about my dad.
Please do not mind the nastiness from some people those people are envious and bitter, myself I am adopted and I can tell you that when I first started to look for my mother I came to late and I do not have any siblings on that side but I did take a DNA test even knowing that finding my biological father was probably far fetched, but then one day I got a message from a guy my age and he had done this DNA test too and it happened to be my cousin on my fathers side. My father had also passed away but I got some half siblings and my aunt (my cousins mother) so my fathers sister could tell me not only things about my dad but also about my mother. How they met during the civil war in Greece he from USA and my mother from Greece and they were young dad 20 mom 17 and it was a war going on, then I was born and my father got the news that he had a son in Greece from my mother who I learned were killed in the war after she gave me up for adoption, but my aunt have saved all the letters from my mother that she sent to my father and my aunt told me that both of them talked about me and even after my mother was killed my father on my Birthday, Christmas eve always used to make a seat at the table "empty chair" for me as so his family would know that I was never forgotten. So enjoy your time with your son as much as you can and the only person that has any right to think something different about you as a father is your son. NO ONE ELSE; REMEMBER THAT, trust me because I was/am that son that came to late, we did not have the social media/ internet at that time. And ofc I wish you and your son plus all the rest family and friends the very very best in the future.

By the way. I love your photos and videos! I'm so impressed! You are a real artist. And thank you for keeping the close caption on. Im hard of hearing. And English is not my first language. 🙏
The internet LOVES to start drama, don't they? You're not a bad father. Far from it. These are the people that are insecure, and don't have attention, hence why they start stuff to make themselves look good. Blaze has a say on whether or not you're a bad dad, and from his video and his reaction to seeing you, I believe it's clear that he's happy to have you around. These bozos probably had a lack of a complete family, and just want attention. LOL! You're perfect the way you are.
Is there any resentment towards Blazes mum from either of you? Also why did it take 2yrs to finally meet in person? I watched ur last video and bawled my eyes out with happiness for you both. Hopefully you have the rest of your lives to make up for lost time and you make amazing new memories together.
You will be a great dad, I'm saying it before watching the video. We all have our own reasons why we do things, we make mistakes and someone calling you a deadbeat are the people who are deadbeat themselves and think everyone is a deadbeat like themselves.
What you are not understanding, a lot of Australian children are cut off from their Dads and family. Majority of Australians are cut of an abandoned from not only their Australian family and relatives, but their overseas families from different nations. It is so felt, the we don't want you, you are not wanted and the abandonment. where people just leave. Some fathers can just walk away never to be heard from again. Leaving the mother to raise their child/children, without help and support from family. When this happens It is felt so very deeply, because Family is huge to an Australian, its betrayal. So for Blaze to reconnect, it was incredibly brave of him to do this, because it is incredibly painful, so painful, its beyond their level of emotional maturity that has been foistered upon them. Most children will grow never knowing their fathers, nor their families and a whole mystery will remain with a we don't know.So if there are any medical issues, it remains the don't know. Everyone has a right to know their identity and who they are and where they come from, to learn their dna and where they belong. Sometimes Australians get tired of people from overseas, making it about you and not being considerate towards Australians and their children because to grow up without a Father in Australia is incredibly hard, difficult, and challenging beyond measure at times.
Wow 👌 ................... You made it happening 👏 2024 Keep up the great work 👍 👏 💪 ..........family counts Aroha From AOTEAROALAND 😊❤ What next .......................?
How were you allowed to meet? If you don't have legal rights and he's a minor? I'm wondering if he ever saw your pictures, what he was told about you, and how you were able to actually see him Perhaps you have a civil relationship with his mum now and she supported the reunion?
Don't forget that these mad comments are often the trauma response of these people towards their own trauma and not towards you. You cannot take something personal that is not directed to you even when you name is written in it, its just not even talking to you 😊 maby that helps you to life with them in a better way.
i do think THE MOM also deserves some praise no?She was probably also a young teenager when she had a kid and from what I've seen she did an incredible job with the young man..alone! So,props to her,i know this dude says he was waiting and building a life and whatever coulda shoulda woulda, and I'm absolutely not saying it's not true but he's getting all the praise for filming the meeting with his son after THE SON reached out and that's about it, and the mom that brought the kid to where he is is almost the witch in the fairytale..go figure.he had to go to court with mom yada yada, i bet my life savings the chick had to do the same with way less supportive parents because she got pregnant, while taking care of the kid, probably wasn't fun either!

I’m sorry your mother seems very sweet, but I did not like her answer about you needing to be ready financially or mentally, etc. because the woman never gets that chance she was stuck with that child had to raise. It had to learn how to be a mother also being a child herself and you get to go and be financially stable and mentally stable and get yourself together while she’s left with the burden of raising a infant at 16 no way all these people can blow smoke up your ass and make it seem like Because you thought about it and you cried at night to yourself about it you still cared no caring is exactly what these people are saying fighting for the rights trying for the rights no matter what the age is because his mother didn’t have a choice you left her to defend and take care of that child all by herself while you got to go build this perfect life and she had to do it on her own and also try to build her own perfect lifefraud and you want sympathy unsubscribing I thought you really were someone who knew what you did at that time was wrong but now you’re up here trying to make excuses because you were young as if his mother wasn’t just as young
But she had a choice. She wasn't left to take care of the child by herself. She is the one who took the child and left to another country. He wanted to take care of him, but wasn't able to because she didn't let him.
Maybe you don’t get the gist…. Brad did not make these choices…. He did NOT leave, he did not walk away, he did try over and over again to be in his son’s life, it seems you have missed out on your interpretation of these events. Thank your comment, even though grossly ill informed.

Thank you so much for the support! 🥹💛

We all have our own reasons why we do things, we make mistakes and someone calling you a deadbeat
are the people who are deadbeat themselves and think everyone is a deadbeat like themselves.

How does Blaze’s mom feel about you guys reuniting?
How were you allowed to meet? If you don't have legal rights and he's a minor?
I'm wondering if he ever saw your pictures, what he was told about you, and how you were able to actually see him
Perhaps you have a civil relationship with his mum now and she supported the reunion?
Don't forget that these mad comments are often the trauma response of these people towards their own trauma and not towards you. You cannot take something personal that is not directed to you even when you name is written in it, its just not even talking to you 😊 maby that helps you to life with them in a better way.
Yes, of course not. They can write as much as they want. haha

i do think THE MOM also deserves some praise no?She was probably also a young teenager when she had a kid and from what I've seen she did an incredible job with the young man..alone!
Judge much. Whatever, coulda, shoulda, woulda read your comment you can go now.
@@DJDJ-qt7jd lol pipe tfd desperate btch, are you not EMBARRASSED you have 100+ comments drooling in a stranger's cck, he ABANDONED HIS OWN SON and that is a PERIOD, and now he's coming on UA-cam saving face like he's some kind of hero because HIS KID REACHED OUT and he responded 3 DAYS LATER (he had a party after all!!),gtfoh,"jUdGe MuCh) what a fkn stupid thing to say now apparently saying the truth and calling out "influencers " on their bullshit is JuDgInG so beware of the cheerleading stans.
There is NOTHING, ZERO, ZILCH, NADA, that could keep a loving parent away from their kid for FIFTEEN YEARS without any attempt of contact, or a birthday present, or letter, NOTHING, except if you DIDN'T CARE wich is 100% the case here and I couldn't give two fks about what the influencer stans have to say. If I'm someone close to the mom the hero in the story you can bet my ass you're not doing this EVER without facing serious painful consequences dude, no fkn way!

I'm Confused.. Are ya'll AUSSIES or KIWI'S?
When exac was he born?

Jesus christ this entite comment section is full of copium.
