As with all of these reality shows, the flying, the planes, the people are fantastic. I don't know who writes the narrative because the narration is terrible. If they would just get rid of the narration and let the pilots and the people talk it would be great.
I agree. The music, the way it's edited, the narrators script. SO MUCH DRAMA!!!1! I think the camera crew filming the hunters was so happy to have them saying they needed help that they decided to show it 3 times in a minute 😂
Completely ignoring the fact that the camera crew must have a safe place to stay? Not to mention you can see a boat in the water while the plane is taking off from picking them up. I am guessing the camera crew was coming and going daily by boat. Love the content of these shows but the drama is unbearable.
I stopped watching as it’s another round of overdone narration and canned music.
Exactly. How many times did they keep saying the alternator quit working when in fact it was working and had to be shut off because it was over charging the batteries.
The narration is overly dramatic. Unnecessarily so. It makes it to where it’s almost comical and has the opposite effect of what was intended.
These pilots are one of the reasons why I became a pilot, I love every bit of it.
Fun times......brings back memories. Bob gave me my very first flying lesson, it only took a couple of lessons to realize a Cessna 150 bored him to death! He was very intense and intimidating to me being a fledgling, I decided to go to flight school instead. I enjoyed my years flying in Kodiak, Bob will always be one of the best!
Too many commercials, but watched half of it. Big respect to bush pilots!
This "drama" is sooo fake. I love the flying parts. Everything else is just fluff. That's why I despise these "reality" shows.
I was a pilot for them in 2010. Quite an experience.
Only lasted one year???😳
@@troyottosen8722 18 months and it was plenty. Lost a few friends, had a lot of close calls. After my wife got pregnant, I decided to move on.
@@alphakilo7005 And what did you expect flying up here???😳 longtime Alaskan saying, “ In Alaska, there is old pilots, and bold pilots, yet no old bold pilots”!Just saying, I have been lucky to fly with the best bush pilots on earth here in Alaska! Many are in books! You obviously didn’t have it for Alaska flying. Nothing new.😳
@@troyottosen8722happen to fly with my gramps? Earl Samuelson Sr. Used to fly for the Alaska State Troopers
@@troyottosen8722 you're such a sad little pos, lighten up bud.
Waw even hunters has a camera crew !
My youngest son lived with his wife and kids in Kodiak for awhile. Only 100 miles of road total. Streets only 3 blocks deep before you hit the mountainside. Tsunami level recorded on sign. Shale and quartz for ground plane. Amazing.
Really, the worst part is all the fake drama and don't get me started on the narration. Who writes these scripts?
These typical reality TV shows are all the same good idea but terribly executed I couldn't stop rolling my eyes whenever the narrator started talking. leave it raw and real is that too hard 🙄
Dream job right there
this show is awesome, and bob is awesome! thank you for the upload
Even as a young pilot I’m happy to say I would know what to do in this situation and I think with the training out there most pilots also know what to do. Hopefully
stop with the lightning already . not a real thing here . seen it 3 times in 40 years . Island air is a great company with awesome people doing a incredible service to all of us on the Island . they don't need theatrics .
Get this man foreflight and a sentry pls
That shows why even in these days of GPS you still need to keep your map nav skills up. You never know when the magic electric bits are going to let you down. 76 years young and still nothing has been built to do the job better than the Beaver.
Why do you blur the aircraft numbers out?
The hunters in hidden basin could of easily walked to one of the hunting camps in the basin....
Shame this video is over-edited and information is repeated like we are dumb. Why not let the scene of the hunters and their rescue just play through in one sequence? Let the people talk, let them start and let them finish instead of endless cutaways. People who watch this sort of stuff do not have to be over-entertained and saturated with noise.
I was almost expecting Paul Sr. from American Chopper to come into a scene yelling and throwing a fit. Such drama. Reality TV for ya. Nice video though if it wasn't for the drama.
Nice reality show clip
Excellent stuff bro
using theit tarp as shelter ... so using their tarp like it was intended to be used?
Alaska has the most pilots
N91AK why did they try to hide it???
... the level of drama.... ridiculous
Great views and stories!
😮😊
Shame those "distressed" hikers couldnt use the camera mans tent to sleep in, how lucky he was there!!!
Seeing that made me stop watching this.
will you release the whole season?
Yes, we will.
That tent looked fine to me,wimpy hunters with no survival skills, not worth risking your life or your plane
If the hunters killed something how would they get it back
👍💙👍💙👍💙 !!!!!!!
Good grief. Hype up normal Alaskan operations some more, will you? Awful show.
Aaron, So true! Been fortunate to fly with some of Alaska’s best bush pilots over the years! This show clearly could have found longtime AK bush carriers, not talking about new pilots up here!😳🤪🤣
Yea need to loose the drama or loose the watchers
Starts off everyday these Pilots Risk Everything ...does that mean they risk a life of their passengers???.. I'm just repeating what the man said in the first 30 seconds don't think I'll fly with them if they'll Risk Everything
Oh God.............sigh..............., what's next? Ok the adjective starts with an s and ends with a d and there is a t after the s, then u, then p, then i, and lastly a d at the end of the word and that spells s....d.
Man I can't stand the narrative talk in this. Death, dangerous, treacherous etc etc. Yes, its risky, we get that but move on. Not even sure I can watch it
What could be an awesome series is ruined by the garbage narrative and overly dramatic bs. I won’t be watching any more.
All these shows gotta be all about time drama. Made up time drama too
"We're in a bad spot. We need... We need help." Jesus the quality of acting in these churned out discovery type shows really has gone downhill hasn't it?
And the hunter that got dropped off have a film crew with them.
