Surprised that at the age of 23 I performed this concert for my Music Conservatoire Intermediate Degree examination. Exactly 20 years ago! Definitely great concert.
My friend played this for his high school junior year solo and when he played the sixtuplet run at 3:53 we were all like "WTF" and the judge just wen "Damn" cause of how clean it can sound

And for your information I would like to add the following: when I talked about that issue countless times to our President, she told me that I am a very "severe" and sometimes "bad" person with the public...So, I cannot add anything else...You can easily understand the rest... Perhaps the audience were not aware that it was between movements - there were very long pauses. Also, being patronising and elitist about their displays of appreciation is not helpful. It's not like they were cheering DURING the performance.
