    She drove from Mexico City Mexico to Prudhoe Bay Alaska ... where she skinny dipped in the Arctic Ocean.

      When I was in grade school, my dad took the place of a friend who got sick and couldn't ride, at the St. Paul Rodeo. After the horse bucked him off, it kicked him in the head. I can still remember all the blood- but it turned out not to be quite as bad as it looked, though as a kid I figured it was serious!

    Jolly went to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo but they were only tbere during the day. The professional rodeo events are in the evening with a different concert by a big name performer.
    I've seen concerts by Alan Jackson, Sawyer Brown and a couple others at that rodeo. You usually pick the night you go be who's performing that night.

    Forgive this somewhat long comment, but it must be said to help others.
    Let your children get bruised and bumped; that's how they become good, tough, well-rounded children.
    My mom had me, when I was 10 years old and younger, pick up GLASS bare hands at the local playground so other kids wouldn't get cut. She would get mad at me if I got cut. It taught me to look out for and help others.
    I think that's what's wrong with society nowadays. We don't let our kids experience what we went through as kids, and it has produced a soft society. When something bad happens, I've seen videos of people who don't know how to deal with it. The people who were born in the 60s and before raised tough children and would MOP THE FLOOR with the soft children of today.

    When the Sun beats down all day, up to 90° or 100° in summers, a hat, long sleeves, and a bandana around the neck protects skin way better than SPF anything.

    The "kids" on the bucking broncos (horses) are pre-teen and teens - they started on the sheep too! These horses and bulls buck because they have a "cinch" strap on if you notice - it's back by their lower back are wrapped around them and the cinched tight and they hate it and it makes them buck ... no it doesn't hurt them at all! None of these animals are hurt even the little calves that are roped and wrapped are just fine. It's stuff that is taken from every day ranching - calves are taken down for branding in the course of the ranch... I lived in Arizona for 20 years and we went to rodeos all the time -- love them! These are real Cowboys and just salt of the earth good people!!
    Ya, sounds like your first venture to America needs to be Texas -- San Antonio area and Austin area have huge rodeos - Texas is big rodeo country (as is Montana and Idaho etc.) Since 1949, the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo has grown to become one of the largest, most prestigious single events in the city of San Antonio, with approximately 1.5 million visitors entering the grounds each year. And it happens during great weather in February!! In 2025 - it's February 6-23rd!! Here's their website - you can check them out: www.sarodeo.com/

    The reason the animals buck is because of the strap around the hind quarter...It is trying to get rid of the strap.

    The style of the shirt is appropriate for the type of work, sweaty and dirty. Also known as "Western Style" shirts. Became durable enough to last, especially on long cattle drives.

    A rodeo should be outdoors, in the country or a small town. Not an arena in the city!

    Rodeo's are definitely more popular in some states more than others. But many rodeo's travel from city to city putting on an exhibition. Sort of like the circus used to do when I was a kid growing up in San Diego, CA. The circus came to town for a couple of weeks every year. I live in Washington state now (not too far from Montana) and rodeos occur here but probably not as frequently as in Montana. They tend to be more popular in states that are mostly rural. Love your channel and your open mindedness. We have seen all of your videos. ♥Rich and Mila in Seattle.♥

    The reason Rodeo animals buck is because they put a very tight strap around them in the vicinity of their groin parts. They're bucking because it's probably hurting so they're trying to get it off. It's pretty controversial.

    • @AliKaiProject
      @AliKaiProject  6 місяців тому

      Yeah we have learned that since the video.. I guess there is no other way!?

    • @deanaltman6841
      @deanaltman6841 6 місяців тому +2

      It’s only “in the vicinity of their groin parts” because that’s the best place for it. You can’t put a strap around their mid section because that would do nothing. It doesn’t cause them any pain either they just want it off. Would you jump and buck if you were in pain? No you wouldn’t. These animals are chosen for this job because they have shown when young that they have a natural tendency to buck. Then are tested by using a flank strap with a “dummy” weight on them. The strap has a remote control release so the strap with the weight can be dropped after 8 seconds by pushing a button. It’s training just like any other animal. Some are good buckers, some are not. The good ones rodeo, the bad ones don’t.
      It’s not controversial for anyone other than activists and people who don’t know any better.
