Dude still sounds just as good when I first heard them in 2002, never gets his credi as a guitarist either…he is playing lead and rhythm, AND constantly using different effects, pedals, etc….shit it incredible
Ohhhhhh man!!!! He gets credit from me! Last time I was at guitar center, 2 weeks ago, I saw an mb-2 there for sale and I almost bought it. My wife would have killed me though. I haven’t seen any Manson guitars at guitar center ever, but they are there now… because of him.
Oh yeah Matt is one of the most underrated guitarists I've ever heard. I don't understand how he can manage all of the effects and play and sing and do it with such precision. It boggles my mind.
Performances until 2011 Reading have been epic but it was 2012’s T2L era that Matt made some changes like using no instruments at songs(follow me, starlight, guiding light). Then in drones era heavy muse was back. For example 2015 Mayan concert got the same energy like the old days. But then when dig down came out in 2017, softer Muse from T2L era was back. Right now, at least this performance showed us the heavy Muse is still there for us. xd
YEEZUS! That intro, that ending, that guitar tone/tune/sound, the riffs, the instrumentation…🔥🤌! Now I feel like I need to see RATM and Muse playing together or something 😭

@@ikerina aw! I hope you get the chance to see them someday. I first saw them in 2018 when they played Carolina Rebellion, a music festival near me. That was an incredible show as it was between album tours and they basically pulled all the heaviest songs out for the gig, since it was a metal festival. I also saw them in 2019 in Atlanta during their Simulation Theory tour, which was also great, in a different way. My favorite part of the Philly show was kind of a toss-up between Assassin, Verona, The Dark Side instrumental, and of course Man With A Harmonica into Knights Of Cydonia, although that's always my favorite part of any Muse show. @@ThinWhiteAxe I'm surprised Verona is loved by many fans because not even Muse expected it till their Mexico tour 😅 So glad they played Assassin. Always love Dom on the drum for that. KoC better never leave their tour setlist 😂 I feel like it sums up their music and very well put at the end of their show.
@@ikerina Verona is unexpectedly awesome live! And yeah I was happy to hear Assassin too, and surprised they played it, especially so early in the set - the drum part on that one is insane, just like KoC.
