While some people may still debate the accuracy of their results and research, Death Battle really did step up their production quality with the animations and presentation of analysis so they're such a fun watch

Well, for last 3 years most Death battle results were right(that's how long i watch it). Most of this battles are stomps. For example, Seth the programmer did debunk on Superman vs Goku, but still agrees on results (also agrees on Thor vs Vegeta). And Thor vs Vegeta was done much better than Goku vs Superman. Some of old battles done poorly and I think they need to redo them(like Ben 10 vs Green Lantern and etc.).

Thor might not have Super Saiyan or whatever but he does have other forms Warrior's Madness, Rune King and probably the most powerful version of them All-Father Old Phoenix King Thor. Although can I just say that I find it strange that you kinda look like a Viking a tiny Viking but still a Viking and yet you're rooting against Thor it's just kinda funny to me for some reason.

Going to be honest, not sure if I buy the result, but I won't throw a fit about it.
People talk about it being hard to scale strength in Anime, but in all honesty, Comic books are worse in that regard.
The actual strength of a character really tends to depend on what writer, era, and story arc you are referring it.
So I'm not surprised thor has some stuff that may justify a win in others eyes.

yeah allways remember that how death battle does there power scaling is that they take EVERYTHING from EVERY CONTINUITY EVERE!
and mashe it together in to one chareter
this can make some characters extremely unfairly overpowered like with comic book characters especially the ones that been around for the silver age of comics as that was basically the age of "fuck it he got this power now because i say so who cares how overpowered it is"
