Super cool bike. I just got a Billy Goat 3 yesterday. My first e bike. I was looking at this one as well . I ended up with the Billy goat because more battery with the second bat. It looks looks more like a e bike vs a motorcycle and I'm in San Diego so I ordered one day and picked it up the next day. Thanks for review.
@@rawdez_ For 2400 its not bad. Its not an E-moto, its not trying to be. Some places give you a lot of shit for having E-motos but dont care about "bikes" so theres some value in not looking like your typical Surron. But at that price point, with that performance, what would you buy?
@@RXR25 either a motorcycle or a mid-drive mountain trail bike. if you NEED speed e-bikes (or e-motos for that matter) make 0 sense. nonsense for people with more money than sense. obviously "there's no bad products just bad prices" as they say. 800-1600usd e-bike with 72v and 30-40A batteries? f yeah)) but these are just a waste imo. it is bad, actually. you'd have a bit of fun on it and then ride it just like you would ride 800usd e-bike. is it worth x3-4 times the price? nope.
@@rawdez_ depends on where people lives. in Canada, Surron or any EV at that style is pretty much risky to use everywhere. this would be a really good alternative to hide under radar.
Stunning bike but think I'll stick with my 95 Cannondale Delta V fitted with 72v/5000w rear wheel. Top speed 65 mph and e kit only cost £1600 incl battery!
It would look so much better if you just had one 30amp battery lower on the frame instead of the strange, childish one on top. Bonus is it would have lower center of gravity and not draw attention I prefer to ride as stealth as possible too many crazy people pester you when they see the top tank look
I actually prefer the top tank look I guess because I'm more of a motorcycle/moped style person. Plus, it helps to hug that thing when you're tucked in going 50mph. Do you have a bike in mind that doesn't have the top tank?
You are so correct. This bike looks clownish as hell. And for shorter riders, that top battery blocks visibility. This giant bumble bee is an eyesore and a red flag to be stopped by police or robbed by gangsters. Probably both. The company (Happy Run) is for crap too. I actually bought a bike from them and it was a big mistake. These “reviewers” rarely give you the whole story. And why should they? The companies pay them with free merch which they resell. If it’s truth you seek, you won’t get the whole truth here.
thats afine looking street bike! maybe around town? here the speed limits are uner 50 - so would be ok on our highway. that is a fine lookin bike for city/in town. looks cooler than a scooter or mini bike its performance surprised me - Im in the wood about a mile of county dirt/cravel to the highway and this should do that easy. yeah its an attention getter - up here the police will wanna see it, so yeah im ok with chatting it up. they might not pull me over, But id stop to let them look close as I know they will want to see it. [likely want to test it a bit] ;)
Most mopeds have tiny wheels so that wouldn’t really work in the real world on a bike, mine has 14 inch wheels and that’s considered slightly larger than usual.
It'd probably be massive overkill, but i wanna see this with dual motor, purely because my DK300Max front wheel drive is great for preserving battery on leisure rides
I have the Motor goat v3. It goes 48mph too, i weigh 148. I feel like this bike should be going 10-15 mph faster than the Goat considering the specs. Maybe it's a weak controller, idk.
This company is crap. Flashy looking components but quality is sub par. Be very cautious buying from this not so happy company. This guy will never tell you the whole story. He would never buy this for himself. I bought the G-60 based on his video and have had lots of issues with it. You have to get it repaired locally and wait months to be reimbursed. Beware!! Remember - this guy gets his bikes free of charge and sells them off to a reseller. He whitewashes anything overly negative about the companies that keep him in business. “Happy Run” has to be among the worst. (“Eahora” is another terrible brand.) He won’t tell you that but I will because I shelled out my money for one of each. If this guy gave a crap about his subscribers, he’d be more candid and not so giddy all the time. But why should he? Christmas comes at least once a week at his SoCal digs.
nice review man, if you want the screen not to flicker, you can record on the GoPro 4k 30 instead of 60 fps. the quality will look the same but no flicker. Do you have a link for the phone mount? Thanks
Stop buying until they give us the range we need, I want an Ebike that can go for 100 miles at 30 to 35 mph continuously I have yet to see a video showing any bike doing this all videos I have seen are under 20 mph.
Any 52v 60ah battery ebike can do that, but they heavy af. You keep seeing speed under 20 simply because its not safe to go faster around traffic in bike paths
Closest you’ll get to that is one of the aniioki bikes, they get 100 miles in real world riding, if you wanna ride 100 miles at 30mph then you’d need one of those zero bikes with a battery capacity of 14kwh.
Will you ever be able to report on the reliability of bikes you test? Many of them look like junk and a great addition to your review is a comment on how the bike holds up over time? Of course that can not be sstated at the initial review.
Looks like fun but it also looks too much like the motorbikes that are banned on most of the trails I use. Can't help but feel threatened that stuff like this will cause more e-bike bans.
