Good video. You have lots of strength. To avoid moving around the target before release, I come to full draw and anchor to the right of the target. I determine my elevation first, then I move from right to left, turning at my waste very slowly until I get the right alignment, then I do nothing but release. It has been working for me better than anything else I've tried in the past four decades.

That’s a great idea. Very easy to control everything when you’re focusing on the shift. Thanks for watching!!

Maintaining outward push with bow arm is common part of shot sequence regardless of aiming technique. Some can benefit from a clicker and some from a conscious aiming technique. Experimentation, imo, is one of the spices of life. Good luck with your hunts!

You have some good points and many mistakes about target panic, called flinching. The past 40 years I have seen a lot. 2 days ago the
World Champ guy from India had a terrible flinching and stil hit the yellow of the target 50 metres away....compound shooter. Or ask Fred Bear about flinching....Or Howard Hill...or Jake Kaminski 2 time Olympic silver medalist recurve shooter. And many millions shooting all kind of bows on this Planet. Are they all daydreaming about a non-existent hoax?

I understand where you’re coming from, but my point was the actual idea of target panic is only in your head. The point I’m trying to get across is instead of calling it target panic, and thinking you have to buy and use a clicker, or buy a course on shooting, rather working through it yourself. I’m not saying it’s a non-existent hoax. The title is just clickbait to get more people to click. Hope I didn’t come across wrong and got my point across. Shoot straight my friend!

Think of it less as “this is a illness” and more of a placebo effect. If you believe you have it you do kinda thing

@@honestlyjustaweirdo7706 that’s probably a better way to put it than I did. Definitely a placebo effect.

You have better form than you think. You hold, pull thru the shot, & reach full alignment. Your not a snap shooter. Good form but your advice on panic is wrong. Some people need to completely tear it down & do holding & let down drills.

I’ve changed some things recently. I used to snap shoot and sometimes still catch myself doing it still. I know I still pull through the shot and stuff, but I meant more as I do it subconsciously. More of just a natural thing than a controlled process like Joel turner and Tom Clum talk about. There was more points i wanted to make, but didn’t wanna make the video too long. Thanks for watching!! Straight shooting my friend!!
