I just ordered some S2 for my Taco. Thanks for the tips.
Nice setup
Do you know how long I looked for exactly what you just did!!! I have Baja lights and the garmin power switch. Not being a electrical master of no kind I was looking for how people installed the Baja or any light harness to a spod or a power switch. The relay on the harness and the switch made me question everything and then you have multiple harnesses to install and …. Well where do I put all that wire and relays at. I didn’t see the need for the switch or the relay really but didn’t know for sure in the end and just wanted to see it installed or even get a email back from Baja 😂 thank you sooo much !!!!
You just sold me on that s-pod!
Awesome I hope you like it.
Great demo guys, appreciate it. Getting ready to install my own on my 5th Gen 4Runner as well now that it's starting to warm up in the Great White North. I have the Squadron Pros, is there much of a difference in lights or install? The sPOD is awesome, may do that someday. Came too close to hitting 5 white tail deer, a black bear, a coyote and a skunk in ONE fall season. Time for ditch lights up here in the boonies of Canada lol.
Canesser yikes...what out for the Yeti. I’m pretty sure the Squadron Pros are the same housing so it should be the same process. Hope it goes smooth.
@@AdventureBuilt Was watching for his tracks in our trip through the bush today lol. Just deer and timber wolf tracks today, still a lot of snow up here. Excellent, the tip on mounting the light to the bracket before installing is worth the price of admission alone. Thanks.
Rago Fabrication is a better quality of bracket in my opinion
Do you have to have that touch screen to turn them on and off? Would I need to buy a button?
You definitely don’t need the SPOD to run the ditch lights. You can wire up any switch to your dash to run them. The SPOD is what Trevor chose to control all his accessory lights so the ditch lights will obviously connect into that. Also the SPOD is super easy and functional, but it is pricey. Good luck.
hey i was wondering how the wind noise was for these lights? i have a pair of pro comp lights installed and they sing if i go over 100km/hr
There wasn’t any noticeable noise after the install.
@@AdventureBuilt thanks!
How about the regular folk that doesn't have fancy SPOD but want to install good pod lights
how do we wire to a regular switch to do the different light setting on the BD combo lights
Im rigging my 2002 Sequoia for overlanding
Instead of wiring to the sPOD you will have to wire a switch. The Baja Designs lights pretty much come ready to work with any aftermarket switch.
HEre is some lights, no we wont show you them on at night (their main purpose), we just want you to watch us be douchbags in our garage!
It's a install video silly
