If I may make a recommendation of my own, one of my favorite witchy mods is VoidWitch's Witch's Familiar mod. It adds a little guy at the bus stop who appears after you complete the Community Center who sells you a bunch of Fall seeds that grow spooky crops, as well as some spooky recipes to use those spooky crops.
I also recommend the Baubles mod. Although it is more of a toy making mod, I find the magic components it has really interesting with the little trinkets you can make, and the sprites are really well made.
Also worth looking at Ars Venefici, a mod that adds a 'wizardry' skill. The mod functions by adding a UI element for creating spells through combining spell components, and a furniture that allows sacrificing items to learn spell components. For example, a spell for watering a 5x5 area would be combined by combining spell components for 'touch', 'water', 'area of effect' and 'range'. One particular challenge I enjoy using on spellcaster playthroughs is phasing out most tools to fully relying on spells for most tasks, which pushes you to use your spells efficiently to keep your mp from running dry too soon.
Yes, I’ve been using Bog’s witchy mods (buildings, craftables, etc) for a while now and they are my absolute favorite. For people who use SVE, someone also redesigned grandpa’s shed (with bog’s permission) in the same style.
In case no one else tells you that cabinet you changed is called a hutch and its for dishes, normally of the fancy type. Thank you for the show case! I always end up with new mods from these.
missed opportunity to make elliott's pencil a quill! especially since he loves duck feathers! otherwise, amazing mods, i'd love to do a witchy run with BogWyytch's amazing mods!
Unrelated but i think it might be a fun idea on the extended playthru to leave yourself a sign next to your house on Sunday to remind yourself what to do next episode!
So the eSports team those alternate textures are aligned with is called FlyQuest. Primarily a league of legends team. Interesting to see crossover between enjoying modding stardew and being a FlyQuest fan lol
Sorry for been off topic but I’m hoping someone has something that can help. So I’m looking for a mod that lets the player help and improve the valley by doing stuff like investing into the shops, building more improvements (I already built the little red school house) all that kind of stuff, I’ve basically got more gold than I can realistically use so it’s kinda going to waste and the games story is all about saving the Valley (and yourself) from jojo and ied like to do it in a more solid way. Now I’ve searched the web and nexus for mods and all I can find is investment mods that are aimed at making more gold which is the opposite of what I’m trying to find so I’m hoping someone that reads this knows of a mod that dose something close to what I’m looking for 😊
I don't have any recommendations but I do wanna echo the desire. Though I'd also love a mod that extends the storylines for romanceable characters you don't marry. It'd be cool if you could help Sebastian move to Zuzu city, invest in Sam's band, or Leah's art, or Elliot's writing career. I like the idea behind the schoolhouse mod, but I also think it would be cool if Penny could explore her interest in archaeology.
So it’s not quite what your after but have you looked at life-cycle rival hearts it’s a bunch of mods packed together that let the Romantical characters (and a few not romantical characters like the mayor) get together with other villagers giving them a bit more that just pining after the main character. You basically download it like any other mod then you open the folder and delete the file of anyone you plan to date and they then start dating each other and I believe you can also turn on married versions in the config files, I have Emily and Clint together as one of the pairings (I love Emily’s little dance but she is to much for me personality wise😅).
@@permeus2nd that's awesome! I'm definitely going to try that out. I know some people like it but to me it's weird that you get married and all the potential partners just keep pining for you indefinitely
See a video showcasing Witchy mods for Stardew, think 'Neat', start playing. Initial confusion ensues when Salmence starts talking instead of Wickedy. 🤣
So this is not related but I am not a gate keeper, wooden fence posts are universally loved now and I just figured this out but its not on the wiki so I think it’s from the new update idk Can you please make a vid on this??
I’ve never modded anything in my life and I feel like a total boomer (hey, I’ll be 40 in April… go easy on me) where do I start… what do I do? The only experience I have is downloading a texture pack for Minecraft.
You’ll want to start with downloading SMAPI. It’s the Stardew modding api that lets all the mods work. After that, if you browse the Stardew folder in your computer you should see a folder labeled Mods that you’ll put mod folders into. After that, just hop over to Nexus mods and pick a few. I love nexus because if a mod that you want needs other mods in order to work it’ll give you a pop up with the mods you’ll need to install so they work.

You really didn't tell us what the potion did ?! XD

BOGWYYTCH LETS GO!
One of my favorite mods in any pack I play is the Chocobo mod where you can raise chocobos and breed colors and it changes the horses to them too!
now if only there was a modpack tested and ready to use with all of these mods✨
Huh, I wonder why Stardew players like witchy mods.
/Checks what demographics like Stardew/
-Queer
-Neurodivergent
Oh yeah, I guess that checks out.
Did i need more mods for my current run? No. Did i just open nexus mods? Yes. Yes i did.
So the eSports team those alternate textures are aligned with is called FlyQuest. Primarily a league of legends team. Interesting to see crossover between enjoying modding stardew and being a FlyQuest fan lol

Yessss
Could you do a more in depth video about the alternative texture mod?
See a video showcasing Witchy mods for Stardew, think 'Neat', start playing. Initial confusion ensues when Salmence starts talking instead of Wickedy. 🤣
If there's a volleyball mod for Stardew I'll play.
What about missing mods? So few mods for Yoba room or beach/resort furniture
Thank you queen. Wish I had a PC unless I'd totally play this on my switch!. But low key if you have a gaming PC why you on stardew lol
I'm kinda surprised Stardew Druid wasn't mentioned. I know it's huge but not even a passing shoutout?
Probably something to do with not having a hot faun for a questgiver lol
@stardewdruid but she's the best part!
@5:19 I’m watching on my Xbox and I thought my screensaver went on lol
Are you going to add this to your stardew valley expanded playthrough
would love to know if there are witchy mods that add in new content as well!
So this is not related but I am not a gate keeper, wooden fence posts are universally loved now and I just figured this out but its not on the wiki so I think it’s from the new update idk

He has a video on how to mod Stardew i believe
When you want your Stardew experience to weigh the same as a duck...
Really not a fan of the background choir music, feels a bit distracting
