    Great video! What a marvel of engineering these machines are. My hat's off to the folks who design, build and maintain these jets as well as the ballsy men and women who fly them.

    Great video! Just remember people, you’re watching a jet which basic design first flew 45 years ago. I can’t imagine what a shock to the system to the F-16 was back in the late 70s!

    Did anyone notice the water droplets floating around in the cockpit? Where did they come from? At 11:09 you see him shake loose all the dirt and debris from the deck of the cockpit! So far I've seen a loose washer (hopefully not needed at some point) and what looks to be a dead or dying bumble bee.

    so agile blows my mind. this dude was trying to tell me the F35 would beat the F16 in a visual range dogfight. I don't think so, F35 won't roll like that. or at least I've never seen one that would. but to be fair the F16 won't perform like this with a combat load. and he did make a good point about the weapons being stored internally. a lot less drag vs F16. and the35 has more thrust. at any rate, I still think the F16 could hold its own.

    Just curious... do all pilots need to pull that many G's + absorb so much strain to fly this display? Or would thrust vectoring and perhaps just canards enable fewer G load ?

    • @afterburner2869
      @afterburner2869 6 років тому +2

      Don Koh Any change of direct results in G forces. Thrust vectoring increases the speed in which an aircraft changes direction and actually increase the G force on the pilot. While the G force may be greater in a pilot using thrust vectoring, the pilot would experience that force for a shorter time as the change in direction is happening quicker.
