Bro Hajji. Out of curiosity how accurate would you say this book is? And how authentic is it? And not written by someone just to defame Abdul Wahhab and the Saud
Also there's a book called "Memoirs of Mr Hempher- Confessions of a British Spy" which details accounts of a British Agent and how they colluded with Abdul Wahhab and Al-Saud to dethrone the ottoman empire and control the regions. Apparently this book is also in the British museum where they do not hold fake artefacts I've been told. Have you come across this book and what's your thoughts on it? Is it legit?

[If the state leaves the line of Islam,
"Obeying the dictates of religion is not the business of the government. It is only the business of society." says, this is to separate religion from the state.
In such a case, the state apostatized (abandoned religion). If the society consents to such a government, or if the government will make laws by taking the society's proxy in the parliament (that is, by voting), the society will become apostate just as the government is apostate. In this case, the following verse applies to both that government and that ummah:
"Those who do not judge by what Allah has revealed, they are the disbelievers themselves." (Surah Maida, Verse 44)
A political regime that accepts the principle of secularism means that it has rebelled against the rules of Islam. Therefore, first of all, this government apostatized, and then those who obeyed this administration became apostates one by one. Just as those who take part in the political administration are apostates one by one, the masses obeying this government also fall into apostasy (kufr).] (Mavkif'ul-Akıl, 4/280)

The Sahaabas were fighting the Roman's and Persians as well as those who reverted from Islam and didn't want to pay zakaat. Now MIAW on the other hand didn't fight the Europeans, rather fighting people who had proclaimed the shahaada and were abserving the pillars of Islam.

That's a false dychotomy. Salafiyyah doesn't relate to spiritual teachings (excellence). Technically you can be a salafi sufi. Sufiyyah/Tasavvuf was practiced by all 4 imams and either heavily recommended or mandatory. Anyone researching these topics will know this. Even MIAW (of all people) considers sufism necessary according to his own son. I can give you the quotes if you want. Whether or not Hajji is one I don't know but following salafi methodology doesn't mean you can no longer follow sufi spirituality (and vice versa). It's like asking can you be a hanafi sufi. Even shias practice sufism and they have a different methodology entirely. Most of the time people practice sufism without realizing it. That is so because the definition of it is sometimes unclear (where does purification begin/end?). You could even make a case for jews and unitarians practicing it in some form but that's besides the point. To come back to your point, when people are picking between methodology or spirituality (in this case salafiyyah or sufiyyah) they are comparing apples and oranges really.
