You can probably get it in the boat if you put some more distance between you and the Dinosaur. It's not a reptile. Dinosaurs are a completely different type of animal. Some of them evolved into birds. The Diplodocus and many other Sauropods had those teeth to tear off vegitation from trees. They also swallowed stones to help digest the plants as it could not chew.
Karlo Croatia Diplos are friendly to even creatures that attack them, they deal 0 damage but with severe knockback. the dossier says they are no trying to harm anything but rather play with them. when tamed they are horrible war mounts unless there are plenty of armed players
I watched Meatylocks update vid, his friend, ThatGuyGerman, said that the kibble was bugged for the diplo, and instead of mejos berries, you need tinto berries
The diplodocus is both a standard and a passive tame. The difference is that you use less kibble in a passive tame and it takes less time, but you need to have Ghilli armor equipped in order to keep it from aggroing.
you recorded before the patch lol. i read on the wiki its a passive tame and the kibbble uses cooked prime. i made the kibble and started passive taming a level 70 female. 2 kibble barely did a thing and it took waaaayyyyy to long between feedings and she kept catching me and getting mad. it was a real pain so i stopped and will try and find a lower level sheesh. antway, great video!!
The diplodocus is so awesome!!! They cant hurt you... It looks like they are trying to kill you but they are playing with you.. It doesn't want to hurt you.. I tried it.. Deals no damage! XD just tamed 2 of them
25:40 when he looks under the water, half of those are rocks, half of em are leeches. I'm fairly certain they are only active at night and are dormant in the morning and afternoon.
Lystro Egg Kibble needs the Tintoberry instead of the Mejos. Don't know if that was a mistake, but I tested it out in my single player map and it worked with the tinto but not the mejo...Nevermind. Posted this right at the start of the video, you found the answer out later, lol. Got ahead of myself. I read this, but haven't tested it myself...you can passive tame one, and it takes much less food and time, than if you knock it out. I only knocked one out. Haven't found an easy way to passive tame it yet, if it's even possible
Dmac the Diplo is a passive tame too and when he attacks (headbutts) he doesnt doo ANY damage he is friendly to people so he wont hurt you or anithing else until something else then a human attacks it a few times then it will start to swipe its tail BUT ONLY when wild. :D

I passive tamed one, got stuck in a rock in the cliff, named her "Derpy". My friend got swamp fever, her sarco too. Went out on my giga to eat the swamp to get leech blood for the antidote, wich needs rare flowers, mushrooms, a rhino horn and leech blood.
Have have to make a dino Olympics or races or something along those lines for the server. It would be really cool to see like raptor races and saber races, ect.
hey dmac. noticed when u were trying to make the kibble for the diplodocus. your cooking pot at the top says 13\12 slots available. might wanna try it again. empty some inventory slot

Dmac, it might be worth noting that the diplodocus (in the wild) cannot do damage but only knockback. and also, it's not going to have a platform saddle - only the 11 people thing. hope this helps ;)
The taming calculator was most likely right on the amount of kibble you needed. Thing is, this amount is only when you're taming the guy nonviolently. And if you're taming it through KO, it's gonna require WAY more food. Also, you haven't lost a single level. The max possible (through using forcetame) would be adding half of the wild levels, which is 75, and you got 74 which would happen even if your animal only ate 1 piece of food.

The Dipolodocus, I suspect, is considered a platform bearing dino. Thus it cannot go on other platforms.
The diplodocus isnt angry when u go near it, it just wants to play and it dosent do any damage.

Diplodocus has a tale swipe in the dev kit and it will not have a plattform saddle. Try to Serch for the Leech at the night.

That's because the server he's on has increased tame speed. On pure vanilla settings he would had lost some levels.
