    This is a wonderful video - and a great way to make versatile cages. I'm also impressed that you did that with very few tools and almost entirely with glue. What glue did you use?

      Just ordinary mounting kit. An easy way everybody can copy.

    Nice built, I like the attention on details. I'm planning to built a large horisontal budgie cage with dividers. I'm searching for places where to buy stainless steel mesh sheets and also stainless steel or plastic bottom trays. My bird cage will have back panels in colorful acrylic sheet, Side panels and roof out of mesh and front side out of sliding glass Doors, I'm searching for place to shop for bird cage loose building parts, like stainless steel mesh and bottom trays as mentioned, is there any place or manufacturer you can recommend? Thank you

    Do your birds need sunlight?? Or can they live in this ariary without problems??

      They have a window providing sunlight. They are only in these cages during winter in the summer they are outside.

    Wonderful video and great build, I have been looking on internet for the small plastic dowel type fixings for the cage fronts, could you tell me where they came from or what the were intended for originally. also what kind of glue are you using?

      Thanks, I bought them in a local shop here in the Netherlands and they are made for these kinds of cage fronts. I used woodkit for the most part.

      The fronts are bought from a local shop here in the Netherlands. the tools are almost only a sigsaw and a drill

      Mr. Aviary if I got the fronts at 120x50 surely the cage must be 120x60 allowing for the trays .or if I go 120x50 as you said in video .then I needs 120x40 fronts to fit allows for the trays

    I have a quail chick with splayed leg and it’s leg popped out of its place. It doesn’t look like it’s having any trouble getting around but do you have any tips or advice on what’s to do

      The best is to pay a visit to the vet, It can still hurt the little fellow.

      I have seen people use a homemade brace to keep the legs close together. Make sure you don't have a slippery floor, use wood chips or something else so it will not slip away.

    What is the white thing where you put the mesh to hold it ? And what did you also put at the top where you hold the mesh on the top? What’ those things? Thanks

      They are little holders designed for these fronts. At the top I only have a slit so I can easily put my front in and place it into the holders. The front will not fall out because it is still in the slit.
