Hi, great video. Could I ask how you manage to catch your canaries? Do you use a net? If so where do you buy them? Thanks

Hi Jenny. I just use my hand, I do try to coach them into a smaller cage to make it easier. I get most from local pet stores, R&D birds Bristol, Ponderosa Cheltenham. And any other store in come across which have birds. Also when their is a local bird auction. Search on Facebook.

Hi Steve, did you make the basic white colored frame yourself or assembled a ready made cage system?

Hi mate. All home made. Making some new cages out of the indoor flight over the next few weeks. So keep tuned. Thanks for the question.

Hi Steve, thanks for the awesome video! May I ask the process that you apply here for breeding please?
    1. Do you put the cock bird first for a week then putting the hence directly in or via a separator ?
    2. How do you know if the hen are ready?
    3. Is there any fighting if you introduce the hen directly to the cage?
    Thanks!

Cock birds are in there now, I'll add the hens shortly, using a partition and having it open a cm or so. This way I can see if they are fond of each other. They are in the avairy at the moment. I think they are ready now, as they can see the boys and look interested. I'll monitor any fighting, but normally it's OK. I'll put nesting material in and see if they both carry. Then nest pans are added, and normally a nest is build within 2 days. I try to time all the clutches together in case I have to swap any eggs. Thanks for the question. Good luck
