Ah back in the days when people would holler out congratulations across the street. Reminds me when I was out in Ontario's Cambridge last fall. It was a rainy day but a newlywed couple was walking barefoot across the bridge and everyone on the bridge rushed up to them to congratulate them. There's something stunning about a newlywed couple in the middle of a crowd that you've captured so nicely. Kind of like an "us against the world" feeling
Thank you, yes some of these pictures do feel like they were taken a lifetime ago. The scene in Ontario sounds lovely - they really do spread a bit of happiness and optimism.
Great video, Chris. Really like the one on the tube platform, the first by the phone box and the one by the Mathematical Bridge. Nice!! Hope there’s more weddings possible next year.
Another super wee video Chris and delivered in your very own and special immitible way. What a great mix Chris and I have never seen it quite like this before. All the images were calm, clear and very much without any fuss, I like that. Keep them coming mate, I love your videos. Keep well and stay safe.
@@ChrisBoland The best thing is wedding photography is to capture the emotion of the day and this pic does it. Keep up the great work, I've been enjoying your videos.
Beautiful concept and images, Chris. I wonder how this idea gets introduced to the couple? Is it a spontaneous thing at a down moment during the day or is it something you discuss/offer beforehand?
That's a really good question :-) When we're walking from the ceremony to the reception I guess the walking through town is something that we're doing naturally, so I just take pictures. But if it's more of a photoshoot I tend to make lemonade out of people walking in front of us all the time :-)

I love the mix of both. There is something mundane and extraordinary merging beautifully together.
Thanks Allysse, I agree - I've always been fascinated by the mix. And it's nice seeing the couple brighten everyone's day as they walk by :-)

Oh! That is gorgeous 👍
Thank you!
Really like the mix! It’s great that you can find time. Most weddings here in Canada are pretty go go go
Thank you. Yes, it's not often I can get to do this - they can certainly be busy here too 🙂
Man... I love your work, simplicity and approach.
Wish to meet you soon.

The picture at 2:00 is magnificent!
Thanks very much Nick. In that picture the couple are lit by the lights of a cinema in Leicester Square in London.

how did u take the images from the asian couple with the high viewing angle?
That is taken from the Hungerford Bridge near the Embankment station in London.
