Kenya , opportunities are very limited, many have papers but lack jobs, unemployment is the deal here. The screwed system by our leaders.
Also, our leaders are very selfish, they don't care about those who elected them to power.
They ever want to separate us so as they rule easily and protect their property.
We pay taxes , but not utilised how it should be.

Nice video.. but few issues.. firstly you can't compare median salaries to average salaries (averages are usually skewed upwards by extremely high earners).. secondly, it makes more sense to compare after tax income because that is ultimately what you receive.. thirdly, some cost of living adjustments will make this comparison more meaningful.

Also: the headline is "highest... for Expats", but the figures seem to be for all residents, not just expats. But some countries (or territories, such as Hong Kong) are famous for having generous expat packages that are well above what the locals make, whereas in others the expats will basically make what the locals make. Distinguishing between these is more relevant than simply noting what the average salary is.

The most important thing is that you can save money with annual net income. Income tax is relatively low in Singapore, eg around 6% for an annual salary of SGD150,000 However, property tax (for foreigner) and COE and road tax for cars are skyrocketing. Today, the COE for up to 1600 cc car is S$ 63000, >1600 cc is 93590 on top of the crazy prices of the cars.

Showing mere earnings per month doesn't complete the picture. What part of that salary is spent on living expenses for a given lifestyle across nations is what would be a true measure of it. If you take earnings vis-a-vis spending per month on same style of living across nations, I am sure USA will come on top. Living expenses cost a bomb in western European nations, compared to US.

@Leonardo Viegas Again, Luxembourg's per capita income maybe high but then so are living expenses. Earnings vis-a-vis spending for a given life gives true picture. Some European nationals may make more money than Americans but I am sure they spend bigger percentage of their earnings on a given lifestyle than Americans. To the best of my knowledge, GDP has nothing to do with it.

I still feel surprise when people underestimate the power of passive income. Recently, I was having a conversation with a tech friend and he literally asked me how do I still survive, get everything I want and still be financially stable, I smiled and told him it was literally Passive income (Bitcoin investment, stock and real estate). Then, he swore on his life that passive income can't generate these much incomes. After the conversation ended, I was thinking and felt surprised about people being in the 21st century and in the year 2021 and still don't trust Bitcoin investment, cryptocurrency, stock and the real estate investment, Honestly, it looked funny but very annoying. Great vid anyway 👏👏👏

For my point of view your own country is best to work

In your own country you’re not a third class citizen. In a foreign country even if you live and work there, you’re still considered as a foreigner. Actually the best is to stay in your own country and work to improve it, so that you don’t have to look for greener pastures abroad. Most people want to leave their birth country, because of the corruption and mismanagement by POLITICIANS .haa.haa haa 😁😆😆

I'm from the UK, but it's really sad to see that the UK is not on the list. But I'm not surprised as Tories cuts & austerity & degradation of employment opportunities left us in complete disarray. However, my wife is Scandinavian ( Danish & Swedish), we are living in London, I love my city. But the gap between the living costs & gross average income is shambolic. I suppose undoubtedly in terms of living costs London will fit at the very top of the list. I think it's just about time to move out of London to Denmark or Norway. My wife loves London and she wants to stay in London for a few more years. We have a plan to move to Scandinavia & we have all these options 🇩🇰 🇳🇴 🇸🇪. My wife inherited a farmhouse in Denmark, not too far from Copenhagen
