Nice video.. but few issues.. firstly you can't compare median salaries to average salaries (averages are usually skewed upwards by extremely high earners).. secondly, it makes more sense to compare after tax income because that is ultimately what you receive.. thirdly, some cost of living adjustments will make this comparison more meaningful.
But in most of these countries, especially Scandinavia, most of the tax money goes towards health care, public free education, unemploymeny benefits, and other social programs, so ultimately they still end up using this "tax money"
Also: the headline is "highest... for Expats", but the figures seem to be for all residents, not just expats. But some countries (or territories, such as Hong Kong) are famous for having generous expat packages that are well above what the locals make, whereas in others the expats will basically make what the locals make. Distinguishing between these is more relevant than simply noting what the average salary is.

In my humble opinions, I think the top five countries in the world are very expensive to live even with the high salary. I would rather live in those countries within the top 10 countries where the groceries prices are stable and the living standard is not difficult to reach.
It's not easy relocating to those countries. Especially if you're poor it's very expensive. Am a Ugandan and I has tried twice getting different visas for different countries only to end losing the little money I had. I will never give up but its very costly and one needs connections

I still feel surprise when people underestimate the power of passive income. Recently, I was having a conversation with a tech friend and he literally asked me how do I still survive, get everything I want and still be financially stable, I smiled and told him it was literally Passive income (Bitcoin investment, stock and real estate). Then, he swore on his life that passive income can't generate these much incomes. After the conversation ended, I was thinking and felt surprised about people being in the 21st century and in the year 2021 and still don't trust Bitcoin investment, cryptocurrency, stock and the real estate investment, Honestly, it looked funny but very annoying. Great vid anyway 👏👏👏
I'm agree with you but other issue for much people is that level of investment for passive income is rising day by day. They aren't having reasonable value for investment from their monthly incomes
@@malikasad773 The level of Passive income generally deals with your pocket and what you earn. You literally can't give what you don't have, so it's unarguably best to start small then build little by little. I guess that is where majority of humans fail to understand that everything generally deals with STEPS.
Yes high paying countries with high tax rates and extremely expensive cost of living. As an Australian, I've heard, seen people who are in Office jobs, struggling in recent times, teachers too, construction, unless your a business man or in the medical field no other job is considered "high paying" after expenses. People in the house hold system are working either 2-3 jobs to meet ends.

Germany is relatively good for helpless people without qualifications because everybody is welcome and eligible for generous social benefits. It is also quite good for qualified blue collar jobs. However, for highly qualified individuals (e.g. IT specialists, medical doctors etc.), salaries in Germany are relatively low and not attractive at all.
You didn't cover the countries with the highest salary in the world! Saudi Arabia is currently the country with the highest salary for expats -- I was earning 100,000 USD tax-free as a teacher, with all living expenses paid, which allowed me to save a ton of money, then buy two houses in Italy where I live. The Arab Gulf has many opportunities to earn a high tax-free salary. Also the UAE has a good earning potential, although the cost of living is high.

Most things are more expensive in Singapore than in nearby countries. The standard of living is not any better than lower salary paying countries. It's not easy relocating to those countries. Especially if you're poor it's very expensive. Am a Ugandan and I has tried twice getting different visas for different countries only to end losing the little money I had. I will never give up but its very costly and one needs connections
Make connections on Facebook, Twitter and see how it goes

How come New Zealand, Cayman Islands are left out from top 10 🤨
Yes high paying countries with high tax rates and extremely expensive cost of living. As an Australian, I've heard, seen people who are in Office jobs, struggling in recent times, teachers too, construction, unless your a business man or in the medical field no other job is considered "high paying" after expenses. People in the house hold system are working either 2-3 jobs to meet ends.
Great idea for better quality life insurance ❤️🙏🤗❤️✌️

That's really good! The weather is just another bonus too! I'm looking to do my medical residency training there!

Hi there.Hope you're fine. There's no Arab gulf. It's called Persian gulf.
@@britishaccenttraining7188 The body of water is called the Persian Gulf, yes, but I was referring to the mass of LAND which includes Saudi, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, etc. It is commonly referred to as the Arab Gulf, but of course you wouldn't know that if you haven't lived there.
I'm a teacher, can you explain to me how I can get a job in Saudi Arabia?
Most things are more expensive in Singapore than in nearby countries. The standard of living is not any better than lower salary paying countries. Prices of car, eating out at restaurants, rent, medical services and fuels are much higher than the neighbouring countries. Most people in Singapore don’t feel rich at all. 😟

AMERICA ❓️❓️....GO FIGURE THAT OUT ❗️❗️
If you want to feel rich.....BE YOUR OWN BOSS

One cannot work legally in the U.S. if he is not an immigrant or a green card holder. America is a tough country to enter if the purpose is for employment. Not to mention that millions of its citizens are jobless and many are homeless.

America always has jobs for evryone , it's the brutal capitalist system that makes people don't wanna work , terrible bosses, high rents , nasty coworkers

For my point of view your own country is best to work
In your own country you’re not a third class citizen. In a foreign country even if you live and work there, you’re still considered as a foreigner. Actually the best is to stay in your own country and work to improve it, so that you don’t have to look for greener pastures abroad. Most people want to leave their birth country, because of the corruption and mismanagement by POLITICIANS .haa.haa haa 😁😆😆

I'm from the UK, but it's really sad to see that the UK is not on the list. But I'm not surprised as Tories cuts & austerity & degradation of employment opportunities left us in complete disarray. However, my wife is Scandinavian ( Danish & Swedish), we are living in London, I love my city. But the gap between the living costs & gross average income is shambolic. I suppose undoubtedly in terms of living costs London will fit at the very top of the list. I think it's just about time to move out of London to Denmark or Norway. My wife loves London and she wants to stay in London for a few more years. We have a plan to move to Scandinavia & we have all these options 🇩🇰 🇳🇴 🇸🇪.
