Unfortunately the reality is slipping very rapidly.
I have tested ALL these countries very often for the last 5 years (as a German pensioner).
Time has changed and don't expect to live under 1000$ per month for a single, basic life(to survive) unless you are gypsy nomad.
    Be warned!

It’s because most of us foreigners go to these countries living in the capital cities where it’s over populated snd mostly developed because u think outside of their capital cities they won’t have much to offer for u wrong it do like in Thailand and the Philippines outside of there capital cities a lot of the locals grow their own food a lot of them go and catch there own meat and they have a lot of local open markets that sell reasonable priced naturally grown food and also it’s not overly populated and no bad traffic outside of there capital cities y’all need to stop going to these countries running down the capital cities only being where it is fully developed and overly populated and unwilling to change your lifestyle as a foreigner being under going to and living in the same areas as other foreigners of course u won’t be able to live for $1,000 a month or less this is why many foreigners won’t last king on third world and developing countries because y’all don’t put y’all selves in the developing rural areas where it’s more agriculture more cultural more traditional more locals u wanna be surrounded by other locals not expats not tourists nor other foreigners 🤔😅💯others go back to your home country

As a Peruvian, I don't really agree with the crime being low... unless you stay in the touristic areas or don't go out when it's dark outside. Also, you can't afford even rent in a decent place in most costal cities for 500$, in general the numbers are off

What matrix are you considering to make such a statement? We have made this video after conducting research, and we are not misleading our visitors. Although every individual's way of living varies, and accordingly, expenses can be lower or higher. We acknowledge that inflation is increasing worldwide. The figures mentioned in this video are accurate, but for that, you need to live in city towns of the country where you can live comfortably. If you go to big and capital cities, the cost of living is definitely lower.
For example, taking Argentina into consideration, you can comfortably lead a good life within your budget in places like Salta, Mendoza, and Cordoba. But, if you go to Buenos Aires, you will need to increase your budget. Understand this.
      We don't mislead people.

@@frankkluz9787 LOL $80-$150. You're off your goddamn rocker. If you're okay with living in a shack with no electricity like a poor local then more power to you😂
You get what you pay for over there and if you go out looking for the cheapest possible accommodation in the Philippines you're going to be in for a shock.
The days of living comfortably under 1k in these places are gone. You need to be realistic. $1.3k - $1.5k range is very doable.

In most big cities in Argentina you will find almost 100 percent of the population speaks at least some English. And many many Argentines are very fluent in English, you won't find it hard to communicate at all over there. Plus the people are very friendly and you won't have any trouble to blend in (as opposed to immigrants in Europe, that will have even their grand-children never fully integrate ...).

Thanks for the info ! -- Since found out they charge like $5000 for their retirement visa for old people like me ! = Crazy - when the Philippines is only like $300/year ? Ecuador & Colombia are much cheaper too for visa costs & travel costs too from the US ? -- I really am infatuated w/ Argentina and - I LOVE BEEF ! -- I likely will never get to go simply due to the expense of staying until I die. Can't afford Palermo on my $1500 SS where many Americans are either. The climate some sight seeing meeting a few expats and the food there would suit me just fine & is about all we have left when you get old like me? -- Thanks once again & all the best.

About the Philippines being so dangerous..., A lie

  • @RichardParmelee
    @RichardParmelee Рік тому

What about the most important factor? None of this means anything unless you can legally reside there. The ability to get a residency or retirement visa is the starting point in determining where you can legally immigrate. Without that it's all half truths and eye candy.
What about the only two countries Americans can live in for 1 year on a passport stamped? Albania and Georgia.
Why is it not mentioned that in the Philippines you are required to deposit $25,000 to get a retirement visa? That's just one example how this video is filled with bogus information and non-information.
What about taxes? Typically, 15% to 35% of your gross income. Yes, including your Social Security and pension income. What about the 183 day rule where if you reside in a country more than 1/2 year you are responsible to pay taxes plus the VAT, sales taxes?
How many people are going to watch this video, relocate and get prosecuted for tax evasion?
A little information is a dangerous thing and this video is full of it!
Research and seek the advice of an immigration attorney in the country you are considering moving to. Don't let your life be ruined by a UA-cam hack.
