The worst bass drum pedal on the market. Tension knob doesn't hold the spring, and the spring just keeps breaking.. Had to replace it for the second time in 4 months. And the worst thing is you cannot put any other spring than the original sakae one.

Agree with you Stefan this pedal is crap. Tension knob doesn’t hold and always bring your spring to the lowest setting… my spring broke also and it’s hard to remove the parts. I managed to repair it but a piece of the red casing exploded to pieces while I tried to open it with a flat screwdriver.
I got a second new unit in return but still haven’t opened it yet. I prefer way better my old japanese Yamaha double chain pedal. Way thougher than that “Axelandor the not so great”😄

Today is the third time that the spring broke. I wrote to Sakae 5 or 6 times on ig, mail and other social networks but they never replied. Just awful.

Expensive pedal, cheap drive shaft. Those types deelope play in the joints very quickly. Such a pity that a hugely important part was overlooked.
