If anyone says the f-35 under performs or has terrible arial capabilities show them this video! It is one the most capable airframes ever put on the air! The fact it's engine can instantly power through the stall in those high alpha maneuvers like show it's as capable as the f-16 if not more so! I can t wait to see these with RCAF colours we made the right choice going with the f-35!
In the interest of being fair, the F16 is more famed for its immense turn rate in a high speed, high g, low AoA environment, so pulling a high AoA in the F35 is of limited comparative effectiveness. Most ideally for a fair comparison we'd have a demo where the F35 hits its optimum rate speed and makes a whole circle, so that we can time it and make comparisons to the Viper. For obvious reasons no F35 operator is going to do that any time soon.
When watching this plane it seems more flickable and more agile than the f22. The only thing the f22 does better and tighter is a loop, but that is of course using its vectoring advantage. This plane still does an amazingly tight loop.
@@daveyboy6985 it deffinitely is up there but doesn’t beat the Raptor in kinematics. Extremely impressive for being a single engined non thrust vectoring fighter.

The proper way to warm up your fighter jet, is gradually accelerate, increasing airspeed as the engine and even Electronics warm, and then only thereafter, when the aircraft has built up a sufficient amount of thermal heat from the continued and increasing friction with the atmosphere, then torsional warmth must be accumulated for ultimate high maneuverability through a series of gradually increasingly tightening yawl change and or gyroscopic transitional banking maneuvers where as the chassis becomes more stressed you can place more demands upon it physically. Still adding.. This also assists Pilots with some appreciable increase of G-Force adaptation in short time..., meaning, whether or not he or she is already physically accustomed to high G-Force transitions doing the above will ready their body faster in the moments they have to perhaps engage in either training or combat. Incredible maneuvers on the F-35A especially the afterburners of the tactical pitch 😎👍

Spectacular aircraft, pilot, & videography by Wingover UHD.
Appreciate them using Blinding Lights under this demo. Man this is a dream to watch
Since removing the flight restrictions on the F-35 I have to say it can move!!

Sustained turn rate of 16°/s in this manoeuvre. Reasonable enough.
I think the possible turn rate is nearly 30\s, right? That may be completely wrong😂
@@Pfazio No, that would be the instantaneous turn rate (and it's still quite high).
16°/s is a good value for a sustained turn.

Gotta love the amount of alpha this plane had coming out of the square loop and tactical pitch. man the f35 rips...
The most remarkable aspect of the F-35 is it's Low observability. The cross section looks like a pea on radar.
Actually it would be the computer, sensors and ai built in which is why it's called the quarterback of the sky.
The most remarkable aspect of the F-35 is that is can fire the missiles of other aircraft for them.
Not saying you're wrong but did you sit infront of a radar monitor while an f35 was flying by to say this?
Thanks Jeffrey but it's the Raptor that's the size of a pea and the F-35 is slightly larger at the size of a gumball. 🇺🇸
A pea flying at almost super sonic speed 😅
I'm not an expert on planes at all but that square loop was crazy.

It's neat but the raptor is breathtaking.
I wonder how much more it would cost if it could do thrust vectoring. I suppose it's not necessary, the F-15 STOL/MTD didn't see any future either.

The ability to supercruise was one of the requirements in the design parameters for the F-35, it can definitely do it.
The f35 can supercurise at mach 1.2 for about 150 miles close to 200 miles the f22 can supercurise mach 1.8 for hundreds of miles way more than f35.
That's what I thought it doesn't have the capability of the f22 it can do it just not for long.
