@@gooner7331 Not according to her tweets. She hasn't said but has posted something that suggests "gardening leave". It is outrageous that something like LBC can be pressured so easily into stopping proper journalism.
@@madjock-ig5bv thing is i am listening to James O'Brien Monday show as i type this message and i am listening to him criticising the Israeli government right now. So why would he be allowed to keep his job and continue to criticise Israel but Sangita gets sacked. Makes absolutely no sense
@@gooner7331 I am not listening at the moment so I cannot be sure of what he has said and the phrasing of it. In the case of Sangita she questioned an Israeli representative and he was not happy. He made it plain and moaned at her for asking simple questions. He looked to be fuming. Right after that she is off air. It is fascinating how much of the press that has mentioned folks asking where she is do not mention what came before her removal.

@mikeclifford. I have never known such a time for name-calling and made-up words. When was the term “pariah state” first used ? It’s new to me. Is there an agreed definition ? . “Islamophobia ” is as slick as anything invented by the advertising industry, but with no harmless intent. Since “phobia” is a scientific term, denoting a state of insanity; its use is inappropriate and incorrect. Sadly, otherwise -sensible people have grabbed it and established it as everyday language. This despite the fact that fear of a militant and absolutist philosophy is not at all the same as being crippled by fear of snakes in the wardrobe.

I'm sorry, but as someone actually suffering from some of the issues he claims, I am calling out PTSD Lewis as a liar. His description of the system is not at all consistent with reality or the callous and deliberate brutality of ATOS, etc. effectively already running culls on the disabled for over a decade (and, despite having friends with lifetime conditions such as bipolar disorder, I know no-one on PIP who actually gets a free car, let alone those with depression or anxiety since these conditions do not require any mobility allowance - most are lucky if they qualify for a bus pass).
The mobility scheme is available for those on certain "grades" of PIP. Not everyone needs, or takes part in it. You're right though, it's not "free".
Forget Yousaf, where's Myska? And where has James's testicular fortitude gone?
His 'white' speech offended and concerned a lot of Scots and therefore confidence was low even before passing unworkable laws. People vote primarily on their wallet and quality of services and many Scots have decline disillusion.

Canada has had doctor assisted death for a few years. I know , personally, two
people , both of whom I loved, who have availed themselves of this very humane way of leaving life. In Canada, the doctor has to ask at the very last minute “Are you sure? You can change your mind,?” (Even at the very last minute). It’s so humane.

How would a politician in Westminster have any idea what some one in Manchester or a small town away form a center. Devolution,taxing ability at local level,and a set amount of transfer money from the central government. Just a thought from Canada services closer to the ground,believe me it is not perfect here,but I have a provincial government to hold to account.

Regarding the crackdown on sick note culture - how can someone be assessed as physically fit to work when they struggle with mental health? How is this even possible in a country like the UK? How someone who is not even a specialist can openly claim that you can separate one from the other? This country has become an international joke.
