Well, it starts with 2001, which I saw in 1968 In Cinerama multiple times. I was shooting some Super 8 space effects stuff back then. Still have that stuff. I remember rewinding for double and triple exposures in the dark bathroom, and the smell of the film. Back then I had to do my act before my parents got home...the book by Kubrick's driver is the best book on him. He was much more than a driver and was with him for ages. The Act Of Killing is a great choice too. Now I'll watch the rest. I joined a 2001 Facebook group. Has high and low points. No one bought my idea about Kubrick being influenced by Last Year In Marienbad with his baroque ending in 2001. I bought the soundtrack to City Of God when it came out, and the Bjork film's soundtrack. Some pocket films I really like are The Good Thief, The Tenth Victim, and The Coca Cola Kid. Try to watch Sparrow. Another film I got the soundtrack for and snuck a bit of it in in my short film noir. Sparrow is Wonderful. No Fellini here.............

I've found quite a few films on your list that I would put on mine and that are rarely found on similar lists on youtube. Naked, Elephant or Nobody Knows are some examples. I also liked that you picked a few documentaries. I believe almost any Herzog movie could be on my list, but my favorites are Aguirre, Nosferatu and Heart of Glass for fictions and Lessons of Darkness and Grizzly man for documentaries. As for Egoyan, Exotica and The Sweet Hereafter are the ones I'd pick with the latter having been on my top 5 list for over 20 years. Such a wonderful movie.
