The fact that the boss is 2 parts is amazing and the fact that sonic turns into Cyber Super Sonic is crazy, they even referenced the show Sonic X when sonic and shadow go super and load themselves into a hyper cannon in order to take out a multidimensional god when sonic uses the cannon in the game, instant 100/10, now the question is, will sage appear in future games?

Can someone show me how to lock on to supreme cord thing, I tried using the lock on mechanic but it's literally just not working. I was using default keybind for PC which is C, Idk how to change my target to the supreme cord.
(Edit: I heard hitting him and then sidestepping allows you to lockon to the cord, you disconnect it by quick cylooping.

I just finished the final boss. I am not ashamed to say that this is my favorite Sonic game of all time. And one of my favorite games of all time. Everything about this is just amazing. I simply can’t put my happiness into words. I’m just so happy. If you’re reading this, Sonic Team, thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
Frontiers was already my favorite game. But this update made me love it even more
this is by far better than the original ending but comparing it to the other endings of the franchise nothing tops Unleashed's crescendo I think. it came in as a close second though.

They should explained how to disconnect the tube that replenishes its health. I literally had to look it up and i was confused why he kept getting back up because i didnt realize i could cyloop his back to release his gun. After that i confused and hyped for the rest of this awesome battle.

@@DJBlazy Try attacking Supreme’s head, then do one dodge to either side and you will see that the lock-on-thingy will point towads the cable on its neck. Then you must do a quick cyloop on it to unplug it. Now you can deal as much damage as you wand. When it is lying on the ground you must cyloop the weapon on its back.

Yo is anyone else experiencing this thing where if you knock down the Titan and it's at zero health it won't progress the fight? How do you fix that?

yea it was annoying for me to. You need to target the link between Supreme and The End, but targeting is finicky.
What worked for me was hitting Supreme once and then side stepping (L1/LB or R1/RB) which then let me target the link, which you disconnect by cylooping.
Then you do the same in order to target and release the Gun to finish first phase.

This update is absolutely fire and probably the PEAKEST Sonic content we ever had so far! I can't imagine how much work, time, blood, sweat, and tears they put into making this so amazing. I would say this did add a little more to the Canon, it was a huge success. The Super Sonic form is the best part, and I'm a lot of people can agree. This has to definitely be one of the Top 5 Best Moments of the entire series, but just super awesome, but in ny opinion, one of the most important parts. I do wonder where the story will go next after this Final Horizon, and how it will add up to the Canon. I'm not gonna lie, this may be the best Sonic game of both 2022 and 2023. Although we're still waiting on Superstars which comes out in about 3 week. All of this is nothing but a work of art and peak. I think the ending may tell us something about Robotnik and Sage, because.. well we know they call each other. Even though there will most likely not be another important update to Frontiers, but this was the best thing I've ever seen in a Sonic game. This update just made me love Sonic and the game twice as much! If you say this update is not peak, then go touch grass! I mean, I've seen peak before, but this is a masterpiece! Shoutout to Sonic Team for putting a lot of work and effort into making this! Y'all are such GOATs! Hey, Chris!? The final update is a 10/10 my only problem is the diffuculty spike is a bit harsh especially on the final trial tower and the final boss was hella fun though

This ending was the best. I definitely really like how they use the Super Sonic 2 form. The supreme boss fight In Update 3 feels so much better than the original. This ending was crazy In Update 3. The final boss fight In Update 3 feels like a real Final boss fight. They use Super Sonic 2 perfectly In Update 3. Update 3 was definitely very fun and interesting experience. The form that Supreme has In Update 3 for the final boss fight is great. Great video Chris)

Idk this fight left a lot to be desire they could have done so much better but the issues are still there with the camera, the trees kept blocking my view and I couldn’t see shit and the lock on is still bad couldn’t even lock onto the plug at all and was just overall frustrating

This final boss was great. I'm not going to lie though, I wish we still fought the original moon final boss after this. The End's monologue during that fight was cool and gave the character some personality.
Was gonna say it would have been nice to see that monologue still and maybe take the fight to space somehow

I like how the ending felt like an anime all it needed is for it to be 2D
I'm honestly just sick and tired of hearing people say "it's free so I can't complain". Since when is free an excuse for mediocrity? Honestly, my biggest gripe isn't the constant crashing and unfair difficulty. It's, the new ending, while Sage living is much better and fits more of a Sonic game, it just plays into Ian Flynn's sick fantasy of having everything in the Sonic franchise be canon. If they wanted a good ending then just make it a good ending it's not right to make us work and sit through Sage's death just to be told that it possibly isn't even real.
I said this multiple times in the past but I don't see Sage fitting into future games, there could be a comical aspect with Orbot and Cubot, but that's it. If she retains her body she will actually be a liability to Eggman during missions as we see she is growing fond of Sonic as a hero... Literally, slowly, becoming another defective failure like a man's other robots...
Don't get me wrong, I love Sage, but her losing her body and becoming an AI voice anime trope was probably the better way of doing this if that is even the Canon ending as she should remain a one-time character. I hate Inn Flynn he is a terrible writer... 🤬😡😡😡

@@throbulonthemighty5754 after doing some research you just gotta keep attacking the head til the reticle targets the chord, additionally, you have to cyloop the top part of the back or he’ll keep coming back to life

That's unfortunate not it, in my opinion I think it's a bug, I perfect parried everything and did the quick cyloop, both of them to make the body get crushed beneath the weight and still not able to attack the wire.

Try to attack his head once, then press RB to quickstep, there should appear an target icon on cord, and you attack it like everything else. It's probably a bug/glitch, happened to me and a lot of people as well.
