    7:03 I’m Amodimethicones biggest fan!! The positive charge in it sticks to more damaged negatively charged areas in your hair so it’s amazing for people like me who use bleach or anyone with damage from heat, colouring, brushing too hard ect which have a broken down f layer (fatty acids on ur hair that are protective and water repellent). Coating the hair in some silicones like this can create a temporary protective shield where those parts of your hair used to be💗

    Thanks for the video. In the US, L'Oreal has different products in their Elvive line. I have a mask from them and a leave-in conditioner that both have amodimethicone and my hair seems to get on with them very well. Lots of great products in the drugstore these days. In so many cases, the difference between drugstore and high-end hair products seems to come down to marketing and packaging.

    Craig, I love your videos. i am naturally level 4ish with 15% scattered gray. The gray is not flattering so I dyed my hair blonde level 9/10. I cannot seem to find the right tone that complements my complexion. I've tried those online apps that allow you to try different colors but they seem 'distorted' from reality. What is your advice? Craig, forgive me if you already have a video on this, but, I wondered about what's the best option to help older men's hair and scalp, for example, my hubby is 43, and he does suffer from dry skin on the scalp, this is especially noticeable when he shaves his hair (no2, no1 all over), looks like eczema to me, but I just wondered what you're advice would be xx

      You’re most welcome, thanks for watching. With a lot of conditioners and treatments it really comes down to texture and often the best way to see is to try something. It’s not from the drug store but I would recommend the Acidic Colour Gloss leave in spray conditioner, it’s lightweight but makes the hair feel great…and super shiny. There a video here on my channel.
      Failing that, the Pantene mask in the video has a great ingredients list - just use less and keep it away from your roots.

    I love love love the inkey lists SA scalp solution! I wish it came stronger (I thought it was 4% but its possible the formulas could be ever so slightly different for different countries based on ingredient availability- lack of some other ingredient mens they add more of another, I know paulas choice can't sell their 9% SA solution in Canada but they're selling no problem 20 minutes down the road from me on the other side (US side) of [Niagara ] Falls, yes I may be fully of smuggling it back home😂 shhhh! Don't tell anyone tho)
    I use the inky list before I get in the shower, sometimes I've even fallen asleep before I had the chance to shower, but I'll leave it 10-30min or so, depends on how much time u have, makes a huge difference in how long I can go between showers/ hair washes #greasygirl

      Hi there, so glad the formula was helpful, thanks for watching.
      I’m afraid it’s impossible for me answer that remotely, there’s just so much to it….and extensions can vary so much in how they take colour. The videos in my toning playlist should be helpful.

    • @Shwinakks
      @Shwinakks 19 днів тому +1

      @@theworldofcraig Ok, thank you so much for your response! I'm going to watch the toning video again! It would be great if you could make a video on how to go from blonde to honey bronde. My extensions are natural, and they take color really well. I tried the 08N + 6wg, but it didn’t give me the same color as my hair. Keep up the great work, you've really given me an exceptional color. I hope you reach a million subscribers one day! Sending you lots of love.

    Hi Craig. I have a few questions and a few requests for upcoming videos. Firstly, I have low blood pressure and am wondering if that conditioner you showed would be safe for someone like me. I sure do need it as my hair is extremely dry and damaged from high heat combined with an underactive thyroid. Second, if it IS safe to use, do you know if it’s available in the U.S.? Thanks for any anticipated help in that.
    And now for suggestions for videos. You told us many ingredients touted for creating hair growth, but which actually don’t. Any that do? Anywhere? That would make a great video where I’m sure lots of us would hang on every word. And another video request that might not be so popular, but I’d sure love it. There are many products both natural and in shampoos that claim to lighten hair. Mine’s so damaged that there’s no way in he🏒🏒 I could ever apply bleach or high lift color. I made the mistake of trying the latter last year and watched my suddenly-too-platinum hair break off to one inch in some places. But I’m wondering if you would consider covering things like chamomile, lemons and so-called lightening shampoos. That would be a fascinating watch!
    Thanks for any consideration of these ideas and please keep these videos coming! You are so comforting and fun to watch.
    P.S. We have blaring music from the eighties in stores in America, too. Was surprised to see (okay, hear) that they also do this in the UK!!!🇬🇧

    • @theworldofcraig
      @theworldofcraig  22 дні тому +1

      It should be safe to use but I would always recommend checking with your Dr - I have no medical experience. I would suggest searching for it on the internet and if you can’t find it in your country it might have a different name.
      I do have a recent video on my preferred products and devices for helping hair density - I don’t believe there is anything that “makes hair grow” but we can support its cycles.
      I’m afraid I don’t care for any lightening shampoos as they can be just as damaging as hair colour and the results are not consistent.
      Thanks for watching and for your kind words, it’s great to have you following along. 👨🏻🙏🏻💯

      Biggest contributor to hair growth is healthy diet and than clean scalp(professional lines are quite usually too gentle for my oily scalp).I'm using almost everything drugstore (except for hair oil, when I finish this one I'm going for drugstore version)and my hair has never been more healthy (even though I'm coloring and heat styling it and swimming in the sea)and I'm in my 40's.

    • @theworldofcraig
      @theworldofcraig  22 дні тому

      @@justmeiam4996 A varied, healthy diet will always be a big factor in hair growth, products not so much, they always have more of a cosmetic effect. Good scalp health is great but there isn’t a lot of clinical data to suggest it makes hair grow. Thanks for watching.
