I have two old Companion saws sitting on Grandpa's old work bench in my barn (which once was his). He bought two complete overhaul kits back in the day and never got to do the work he planned. That's the best antique chain saw I have ever seen the detailing is fundamentally perfect, I wish it were mine to use, my old Husqvarna is too heavy for me and works great and is very powerful, Man you have skills.

Мне как-то отдали старый Jonsered , перебрал работает отлично, пилить не чего но такой агрегат - история, люблю пилы! Стоит для красы, любуюсь! Мастерская вообще зачёт! Мне ещё далеко до такой! Классная пила ! И это 60 года... Имею Тайгу-214 - 1 сплошной кусок дюраля- по сравнению с этой пилой, тайга - космический корабль. А тут минимум деталей, чугунная гильза, декомпрессор, вынесенная за пределы катушка зажигания, которая не отхлебнет от перегрева - ну вообще супер ! Просто и надежно, я бы и сейчас такую использовал )))

I like your Zinc plating method because I can resurrect old lawnmower mufflers that way.
I hope that you used a gasket material such as Kevlar for the cylinder head gasket which can withstand the heat !

Yes zink works great on mufflers 😊
For the cylinder head I used copper witch is original for this engine. 👍

В итоге отличная работа, достойная мастера. Цинкование, конечно, хорошо, выглядит достойно, но можно попробовать хромирование, выглядеть будет не хуже. И в конце видео заметил дефект, цепь не должна проворачиваться на холостом ходу.Тут или со сцеплением немного не в порядке или холостой ход нужно немного подкрутить. Но это лишь мелкие придирки.
