A "Verb" is always a verb as it dictates an action or doing something regardless of its importance. I have spoken to many teachers and asked them if they practice what the teach...the answer is NO. Spoken English is not all that easy to understand and speak, especially when it comes to Professional English.You do not call a Cat a Dog, although they both are animals. When I answer a question...it depends on what the question requires me to respond to. I myself teach Business and Professional English...not quantity but "Quality". Spoken English depends on pronunciation, emphasis,body language and articulation...However, I encourage every person to keep trying, never give up and you will succeed.
