Hi Brian! Thanks for the comment! Lark's head knots are most often used to start a macrame piece, to mount the cords onto whatever support you're using (a wooden dowel for example). I use this version of the lark's head knot in almost every wall hanging I make. I prefer mounting my lark's heads this way, rather than just a simple lark's head, as it covers the dowel more. So to answer your question in short - you could basically replace the lark's head knot with this one in whatever work you're making (wall hanging, plant hanger etc). I hope that helps! 😅
