you are a life saver. i’m making a necklace for my sister and attaching cord on both sides of a pendant i made. it has two wire loops on either side to secure it to a chain. unfortunately she doesn’t like metal chains and i wanted to use cord instead, but all the knots i’ve tried have been eyesores. i settled on a larks knot. but it kept coming lose and i was losing patience. i’m an amateur and have been searching for ideas all morning, with no luck. the slingstone hitch is PERFECT. you seriously saved my day, thank you so much 🥹
Thanks a lot from Mauritius - I haven't seen these reinforced knots before - they'll come in very handy with a couple of projects I've been having problems with.
I Loved it..as a beginner with no much knowledge in macrame thisChannel is big help im so happy that i found thisChannel.. so clear, easy to follow, we can learn a lot in an instant.
Thanks 😊 for this video. I've wondered how to do it some way where the knot wouldn't easily slip and now I know. Well, that is after I do it a several times. It's great knowing I can reference this video as many times as I need.
I love these! Especially how firm they hold. I have a question though... how do I do the Slingstone Hitch at the end of the cord, when attaching to a dowel for a hammock? Thank you!!!!
Hello i would like to know where did you buy your blue rope ? Can you give me the link ? I am in France and i can not find this kind of rope or at exorbitant prices. Thank you
btw -- your reinforced lark's head is known to sailors as the "pile hitch". in sailing, this knot is known as a "pile hitch" used for mooring a boat, although the pile is a vertical pole (log) so that the "pile hitch" is horizontally oriented.

Thank you for sharing. Very nice.
This is great information! So nice to have something else to start projects with besides just a larkspur knot all the time.
Whoever thumbs down this is a hater. This is a great tutorial.
This is one of the most useful macrame tutorials I’ve seen. Thank you!!
Wonderful, thank you!
Thanks - a nice explanation. I think your reinforced lark's head knot looks like a pile hitch (albeit the tieing method differs)

Interesting!
I did a double half hitch knot after a lark's head just to secure it. Your tutorials are other options.
Thank you 😊

Great to see there are alternatives. Would you please tell me what rope you used? Is it a poly blend, it makes nice looking knots. Thankyou.
It’s from Bobbiny! It’s braided 9 mm cord 😊

Hi, what kind of cord is that you’re using?
My video doesn't show the dowl so I can't see how the knot is made. Soooo frustrating! Is this an issue only on my phone?

why do they call it a cats paw? Idk if it's worthy of comparison to the awesomeness of the toe beans lol
So helpful. Thank you ❤
