Sea Turtle Hatchlings Scramble to the Ocean in Delray Beach, Florida

Sea turtles emerge from the oceans to dig nests and lay eggs in South and Central Florida in April. Mid-summer, the eggs start to hatch and the baby sea turtles dig their way out of their nests and scramble to the sea. These sea turtle hatchlings were in a past-due nest. A sea turtle conservationist excavated the nest and released the hatchlings at water's edge.
