Thanks again - I already was happy with my settings in the past but needed a little refresher on the settings and our settings are almost identical. I was always freaked out by other tutorials that left that rightmost slider at 0 at all costs. But it always clipped that way. -9 is perfect for me there.

The DBX286 is so underrated. It was designed by Bob Orban, who has designed some of the best broadcast processors ever.

@HomeStudioPro Yes, absolutely true. Back when Orban and DBX shared some R&D. Bob Orban posted that himself on a forum I once belonged to. Yes, first officer on the B57 for about 3 years. On B37 prior.

Hey, awesome and extremely detailed video
Apologies for commenting so long after this was published, but I was thinking about getting and using a RE20 on my desktop computer & was wondering what the best setup would be to use in order for that to work. I mainly question what interface to pair with the 286S (if any at all) and what other cords, cables, or connectors I'd need to hook everything up. I'm new to all this audio stuff, but very eager to learn and figure out what works best for my intents and purposes

I have one important question can I pair this db with the io24 or focusrite 3 gen?and the you have tutorial how to use preamp?and is posible to pair this ome with go xlr
