im using a focusrite 18i20 interface

i have this exact mixer. #! do you think its better to use the usb to mix or should i run cables from the outputs on my interface to the in on the mixer and back in to my daw? its my first analog mixer.

The sound isn’t as full as the older ones but it definitely is better/ thicker than nearly any interface that I’ve ever used under the $2000 price point.. especially if you sum all your tracks to the two track master bus within the Daw … but if you don’t have this connected to a furman where you could hit the off switch you’re definitely going to be replacing that power supply probably every year or so .. My only problem is that it is not easy to do live streaming with this device the software this built-in is not recognized by OBS or any other broadcasting application

Can I connect a mic to a mic processor then to the mic I put of a DJ controller. This is so I can hear my voice while mixing without having to swap or remove headphone (if connected to an external mixer)

I have a question. I have the Shure SM7B, and even though I have all the components you used in the video and all the connections are correct, the microphone generates background noise, like a sound of rain. I think that’s called static. How did you solve it? I’ve tried everything and I haven’t been able to fix it. I changed the interface, bought another XLR cable, and tried connecting it to all the ports on my PC, but nothing works. I don’t know what to do anymore, or if this noise is normal for the microphone. Can you help me with that, please?

Brody, have do you have any processing recommendations with this headset on a roadcaster pro 2. I am having an issue with tinny output from the roadcaster with this for sports webcasts

Would you say the 250's can be powered with an arturia minifuse 2? I'm worried that if I get the 250's it wouldn't work well with each other.

U87 sounds boxy to me and way too mid heavy not really a fan, M49 , U67 and U47 Fet blows it out of the water. TLM 103 is also a lot better to me personally more pleasing

Hi Brodie, I was surprised to see you had this channel, I enjoy watching your sports-related channel very much. To my question, I have the same set up that you have. An RE20 and a 286S. My audio console is an Arrakis ARC10 radio console. (I'm setting up a new Internet Radio station) I see that you have plenty of headroom on both your input and output settings on you 286S. I have to have my Input level at 100% and the Output level at the lowest setting to be close to a good sound. But then the level on the fader on my audio console is hot. Any ideas about how to attack this? Thanks!

the DT's sound muddy in comparison to that classic crisp broadcaster sound of the HMD's. To me, no comparison. Sennheiser all the way.

Great video. I disagree with you on fully processed vs unprocessed. As long as you've got the cloud lifter or FetHead... ya don't need much more.

Can you really record to 12 separate tracks simultaneously and separately using the USB from this mixer to DAW tracks. Like Mackie Firewire can do. I am thinking that all USB technology can only send two tracks separately by panning one channel left, and another right.

I did excact the same thing but even when unison is off my 103 signal is not like yours, do you have anything else on signal, or just apollo x & tlm 103?, btw u a legend!

Now I need that so I can hook up my Apollo just for my vocal chain and the computers. 😂❤ so I can have real faders and sounds pads 😂❤
