We stayed at an AirB&B near those streets a couple of years ago - apart from those disgusting purple bins, it was OK to be fair. But what you're revealing here is horrific. I'm sorry. I've lived in the north of Portugal for most of my adult life - it is poor and without many of the advantages you take for granted there. The limestone paving and terraced houses are beautiful. The cars mounted on those dirty pavements are way out of the range of most people here. A few months ago, my son rescued a Pitbull who was wondering in the country, starving. We were a bit suspicious at first as those dogs have such a bad reputation, but he's the sweetest, silliest creature you could imagine. The fact that one of his brothers was treated so cruelly on a Liverpool street makes be cry. Again, I'm sorry - I was brought up in Liverpool - still a beautiful green city - unique, and with such a heritage, such amazing people. I hope and pray it all comes round well in the end.
thing is these aren't even refugees but Romanians who came here legally when they joined the EU, even other EU states like France placed restrictions when they joined so why didn't we :(
Sad so sad. I spent my fist 20 odd years in the aarea having been born just before the end of WW2 in SMITHDOWN ROAD HOSPITAL . A vibrant WORKING class area. Many bombed out areas till 1960s but none of the kids used the bricks as weapons, none would have thrown a dog off a valcony, no one would have killed or butchered and cooked a pig in the street even if one was available. The women were too proud of how clean they kept the pavement outside their house to allow such primitive customs to spoil it.. What happened to decency, humanity, civilisation? Look at the many closed and the few open church buildings in the area and you will have a clue. Say what you like about religions but at least the ones in my day fostered respect for others. Can we say the same about some which have replaced them? So glad I am only seeing this on video and now live ln an area that so far has not submitted to 'cultural enhacement'.
This is an absolute disgrace, I live about 5 mins away from there, I have noticed the streets around me are getting the same. Rubbish left on the streets the day the binmen have been..... WTF.
My dad and nan are buried in Toxteth Cemetery and im too scared to go and visit their grave as there are always gangs of people hanging around by the Cemetery;(
We're not far away from the army being on our streets like in Northern Ireland back in the 60s & 70s. The UK is tinkering on the edge of societal collapse.
Total disgrace...why is this happening? We live in in sleepy Hove, but it's happening here also...suddenly groups of young men not of these shores wandering our streets...will not allow my wife to go out on her own for obvious reasons.
So many streets are half-abandoned, run-down, filled with derelict buildings... such a state of despair. I left Liverpool in 2019. Nice people, nice corners and places, but overall, the city is in quite a bad shape. These houses should have at least double glazing... their state is pitiful. Poor town. I guess it's the same story in many other English cities and towns.
the council have got a lot to answer for. the damage has well and truly been done. this was happening in london years ago,and has eventually made its way up here. apathy will prevent anything being done about it sadly.
It baffles me, they can see who are the problems yet choose not to take action, maybe instructions from the government throught to the police, our street are filthy,,
It's absolutely disgusting these folks don't give a dame there just there to claim as much as they can from the system they take no pride or responsibility of there living circumstances they just expected the council to clean there mess up and the more the council clean it up the more they will dump there rubbish in the streets it's the same in parts of Sheffield there's no respect and no discipline how do they live like that it's absolutely disgusting
Thanks for the video, mate! Dystopian is the right word for this area of Liverpool! American XL Bullies are a banned dog breed and are only allowed to be taken out with a muzzle and a lead! That is if you have obtained a special license to still keep one! Immigration is used for the poor people from other countries to find a home in the UK. Unfortunately some of them bring their poor habits with them! The English people sell their homes in this area at a cheap price because they are so desperate to leave the area! The houses are then bought by these so-called landlords who then rent them out as multi-family homes! So sad to see this😢!
@ Obviously because they are dangerous dogs and unpredictable! How many of these dogs do these immigrants and gangs have? A lot of these dogs have now been impounded but many of the remaining ones are not licensed!

At one time people had so much pride in their homes scrubbing their front steps and making sure their net curtains were pristine. What has happened to this city?
Remember the Capital of Culture and all the money we used to get from the EU and central government? It wasn't that long ago (late 90s and early noughties) that there was a more optimistic vibe in and around the city. The Tories took over and the money supply to so many cities, mostly in the North, was drawn back to a dribble. That's when things took a wrong turn here and elsewhere. All the figures show that the city councils down south get way more money per head of their city's population. Move on a few years and national infrastructure and public services were savagely axed and cut back. Schools, breakfast clubs, after school clubs, travel passes, NHS cutbacks, cut backs to youth work, community centers and leisure facilities, cuts to social care, to social housing and on it goes. Then we add in Brexit, HS2, Boris Johnson, the Covid debacle and Liz Truss wiping billions from the UK economy in a few short weeks. We should also consider the dodgy deals, the Russian report (never fully released), the crime, the abuses of human rights along with so many forms of corruption via lobbying, 'donations', 'gifts', the blackmail and bribery: and, in case you hadn't noticed, the planet is fooked, on top of all this. Is it any wonder that mental health problems are rising, suicide in young people is much more prevalent, work doesn't pay as more and more people come to depend on food banks (but energy, food, rent and taxes have all gone up). so the money we have is worth less and less. The idea of disposable income is just a distant dream for so many people, instead they're taking on more loans and more risks borrowing off loan sharks to get by. Each passing month, we hear of more and more people dropping-out, finding ways to escape or self medicate, just so they can face another day of the same shit. Well, it's not hard to see now why most young people have had enough, they feel their future has been stolen from them and kicked to the kerb. So why would they respect their elders or figures of authority, why would they feel invested in their community or this society as a whole? It's too depressing to watch this sober. The best of our civic and social institutions have either been dismantled, set up to fail or left to rot and fall apart out of neglect. And then these key institutions and public services are privatized; and sold off for a song, at that, to their mates, their donors and key supporters. What we're now seeing is a tragedy in slow motion; the decay, dilapidation, disconnection and despair, it's all there, falling to pieces along with its denizens, day after day, after day. I sign off now as, yours truly.... derelict and defeated ...
The only money we got from the EU was a small fraction of what we paid in and only if we asked nicely and agreed to take immigrants from it's eastern borders. Sadly when we left Maggie May took our right to stop refugees wearing our trousers to Kelly's pawnshop, 9 linden strasser, srasburg.
Can't honestly believe what I'm seeing this is unreal .Where are the council that receive the rents for these houses even though they look like absolute dumps. Shocking district who would want to live their Seriously .😮
Cooking a Pig in the streets knocked me sick I've gone vegan now so it made it worse! Every area you go to now goes from one extreme to another take Kirkdale and Woolton for example the only thing they have in common is they are in the same city

Pull the lot down hold the landlord’s to account and get this city back to what it was because the landlords and the council are the problem .no one feels safe in this city any more .
Dystopia is a very apt title. They moved us out of L'pool in the 60's and levelled our streets to 'improve' the housing. What I see in this video is worse than we had, even with outside toilets and no central heating. Women them days would polish their doorsteps and window ledges. What a contrast and what a pigsty. (Pigsty probably not best metaphor given they are being barbecued on the doorstep.)
The council and powers that be know what's going on. Many have complained. It may have to be left down to the people to make the necessary changes and bring our country back to what it once was.
You will not find any counsellors walking around. All should be held accountable for their elected areas. Especially Tuebrook, Kensington and Wavertree
I remember reading a comment many years ago. Saying our country wont be our own with all this immigration at the time i thought what a racist thing to say. But how true it is. Conservatives were bad Labour even worse, our country and its laws are way too soft

That for uploading you're video, which will undoubtedly be appreciated by everyone who has watched it,mainly for exposing the raw realities of life for some people which,in a city which used to be actual superpower in itself on a par with London even. The 80s may have been bad,but the homeless situation in the city centre back then compared to now was something else.
Looking forward to your next exposure, and to think there will be people who will ignore videos like the cos its "not entertainment"
God bless you my friend.

My great auntie lived in this area .My brother lived in this area with his family. His son in law lived in this area ..I have in the past had lots of friends . I worked in the area for about 3 years. I never thought something like could ever happen .. The rate payers should take the council to court ..The area is a health hazard.. so sad .
The street sign had Smith Down crossed out. It said Welcome to Beirut
FFS, don't even recognise my home town anymore!
Easy to sort out the anti social fly tipping pig cooking, etc. Every person in the street on benefits has £10 deducted from their benefits PER WEEK until the fridge /problem is gone. Broken window? £10 from everyone.
Sad part is this is just the beginning it will spread all through Liverpool.Hasn't Liverpool taken more immigrants by population than anywhere else in the country?
While our own British brown black white get left to rot
But it already looked like this
@therewdy4038 and I suppose your a crustie left wing wokey. .who loves all this ,,as long as it's not in your area ,,just so you can feel good about yourself ..People like you are why we are in the state we are in

Now the council have proposed a 'new town' with 10,000 houses built, guess where? All the deprived areas of liverpool like kirkdale and anfield where there's already a severe lack of amenities
It's over sons, you cannot turn that around, that is just a fact.
I cant watch this demise of our country especially Liverpool... Im an oldie but if i see any rubbish outside near my home i immediately pick it up and i have difficulty walking ... They must have rubbish tips in Liverpool surely
8:40 that shoe/ chair was on Billy Moores.
Oh yeah I saw that on Billy's channel looks like something out of a Dutch knocking shop
How can those BBQ’s not be a fire hazard !!!
I'm from Newcastle and I love Liverpool. It's sad to see x
@@shirleyburnham2782 big love to Newcastle 👍
Wa happens when the country lets too many refugees in sad to see Liverpool in this state 😢
Theyre not refugees they dont come from war torn countries they come for the free stuff.
thing is these aren't even refugees but Romanians who came here legally when they joined the EU, even other EU states like France placed restrictions when they joined so why didn't we :(
Liverpool a city almost entirely composed of economic migrants. Check your DNA.
WTF.
My dad and nan are buried in Toxteth Cemetery and im too scared to go and visit their grave as there are always gangs of people hanging around by the Cemetery;(
You should’ve called the video “scruffy bastards”
We're not far away from the army being on our streets like in Northern Ireland back in the 60s & 70s. The UK is tinkering on the edge of societal collapse.
Total disgrace...why is this happening?
We live in in sleepy Hove, but it's happening here also...suddenly groups of young men not of these shores wandering our streets...will not allow my wife to go out on her own for obvious reasons.
Being rundown on purpose
Seems like this is the same story across the West.
Empty houses should be illegal , so many people need homes right now
Vote Reform and stop this madness
We all did (those who had a brain) but Liverpool will always be run by Labour, so it won't make much difference to us 😢.
It’s like somewhere in Africa or the Middle East
5:18. . am sure that's the same gaming chair/car seat that was in Billy Moore's video. could be wrong tho.
As Joe Owen’s keep stating “Liverpool is no longer a scouse city”
YOU THINK ITS BAD NOW , YOU WAIT & SEE WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE IN TWENTY YEARS TIME MATE ...
Speaks volumes that the street with less occupancy/more borded up homes is better than the others...
Isn’t Liverpool run by a labour council?
whole countryis full of slum housing like that, people forget its a monarchy and they are designed to require many peasants.
Yes. Sadly, most people here are braindead communists.
Yes.. And Scousers keep on voting for them.
They've made their bed, they can lie in it.
What's that got to do with it ? tory bellend
the council have got a lot to answer for. the damage has well and truly been done. this was happening in london years ago,and has eventually made its way up here. apathy will prevent anything being done about it sadly.
A Labour Council.
We've had a Labour Council for years now... only interested in filling their own pockets.
IM 74 YEARS OLD AND THIS IS A BLITHERING BOTHER !!!!!
It baffles me, they can see who are the problems yet choose not to take action, maybe instructions from the government throught to the police, our street are filthy,,
Councils have done nothing for around 30yrs not spent a penny on these areas....prob forty yrs....but people make slums
And who is in charge of the councils? Labour or the Tories?
No difference what so ever @@helengraham7472
Immigration needs to be stopped and we need to start sending people back. Enough kindness. It's killing our country.
What are you waffling on about xl bullies for 😂😂😂
@
Obviously because they are dangerous dogs and unpredictable!
How many of these dogs do these immigrants and gangs have? A lot of these dogs have now been impounded but many of the remaining ones are not licensed!
@@StevenHolmes-s3e xl bullies have no corelation to this video or the fact they they are banned and have to wear a muzzle , weird statement by yourself tbh I've come across hundreds of them in Liverpool never met a bad one yet dangerous in the wrong hands maybe

Starmer doesn’t see this as it’s not happening in his area , this isn’t fair to the residents that have lived there all there lives why do they have to put up with this vile behaviour there like rats there everywhere in bin bags , stealing cooking in the street omg it’s horrible behaviour and not fair why r they here we r not in the EU they don’t work there scammers they don’t want to do nothing , council no nothing no improvement at all , I believe what ur saying mate 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Labour ran for yrs what do you expect.
It would have been different under the tory vermin ? clownkeks
At one time people had so much pride in their homes scrubbing their front steps and making sure their net curtains were pristine. What has happened to this city?
A massive influx of uncouth immigrants is what happened !
I sign off now as, yours truly.... derelict and defeated
...
Very well said mate 👏
The only money we got from the EU was a small fraction of what we paid in and only if we asked nicely and agreed to take immigrants from it's eastern borders. Sadly when we left Maggie May took our right to stop refugees wearing our trousers to Kelly's pawnshop, 9 linden strasser, srasburg.
Can't honestly believe what I'm seeing this is unreal .Where are the council that receive the rents for these houses even though they look like absolute dumps. Shocking district who would want to live their Seriously .😮

People literally gave their life for 'king/queen and country'. I don't understand how can the Royal Family let this happen without as much as a peep?
😂😂😂😂😂 As if they're bothered. Thanks for the laugh though 👍
Not our king
The council and powers that be know what's going on. Many have complained. It may have to be left down to the people to make the necessary changes and bring our country back to what it once was.
I can see this happening vigilante gangs on the streets
Who is is in charge in charge of the council?
Labour?
If so why do the voters keep on voting for them?
You will not find any counsellors walking around. All should be held accountable for their elected areas. Especially Tuebrook, Kensington and Wavertree
Why would there be counsellors (psychotherapists) walking around there?
