Outside our works we had a guy who wasnt an alchy or a druggie but had terminal cancer and was homeless. Our council gave him a tent.two months later he died...oh he was a white english guy,maybe thats why .

Imagine paying for Somalian, Sudanes, Pakistani & Afghanistani men £100-£150+ per night just for their hotel fees when we already have record numbers of homeless. I’m from york and I’m noticing a lot of the rough sleepers in the city centre have been sent from other city’s hoping York will house them. I was homeless for 2 years and I never thought about hanging around and sleeping in the city centre.

You can't stay sober when sleeping rough its always going too be something like drinking or drugs or your be smoking cigarettes its always something your touch when your out there

If i was homless im not going too lie if i made a good bite of money i would go straight too the corner shop and buy a big bottle of frosty jacks cider and look around on the floor for some cigarettes and light one up with a good old drink 😀

If your homless around crismhas time all you can do is hope you make a bit of money too get a big bottle of frosty jacks cider and just seat in a door and smoke a cigarette with your bottle of cider and forget whats going on for the next few hours then at night sleep behind a building in your sleeping bag thats you can do is just get by in it 😀
