Taeyeon has been in the Kpop industry for almost 15 years and she sings just as good as, in fact better than, when she first debuted with SNSD in 2007. This is probably because she is such an amazing storyteller. Every drama wants her to be the voice of its story. The best thing about her is she KNOWS her capability, she often stays at her best range and I love that. She a smart vocalist. Most singer these days sings higher than they comfortably can but Taeyeon often stays at her diamond range (A4~D5). She does sometimes sing higher but it's not that much so it doesn't harm her chords. Also yes in this video, she approach with more nasal quality. But believe me when she dropped that nasal tone and just do an open free belt, she's one of the most open korean vocalist out there and it felt like a tsunami wave or an earthquake because how big it is. Finally someone that appreciates Taeyeon in a musical way. Yes you are absolutely right, she knows how to stay in her comfortable range and use the right type of voice for it which is what makes her songs deceptively easy but when you try to sing it you will realise it's not.

I've only recently got into Kpop and it's because of SNSD and I remember hearing those amazing belts and highnotes. After doing a bit of research I realised that it's mainly Taeyeon who does those notes and went into a deep dive into her solo work. I think what you should do with Taeng is to do a bit of research. Watch her older performances vs her newer performances and breakdown the change in her technique and style over the years as she matures as an artist. Even at this age she's already a veteran of the industry and no matter what anyone says about her, they can't say that she can't sing.

I always cry everytime i heard ‘I’ because of how beautiful her voice is, the music and the message of the song. Taeyeon has never once failed to deliver a good performance even when she's sick. I highly suggest you watch her performances at her concert for Fine, UR, Gravity, Time Lapse. She also sang When We Were Young in Begin Again. Listen to all of her albums. I especially love her My Voice album, but Purpose, What Do I Call You and INVU albums are a close second. While the rest, although not my favorite, are still great to listen to. I believe the year was 2015 and GG came to New York. They visited Best Buy and they had a touring bus waiting for them outside. I was able to see Tiffany, Yuri, Hyoyeon & Taeyeon. Honestly they were all beautiful, but Taeyeon had this extra-ness to her that I really can't explained. Her vibe and energy in person is so interesting, she looked so uniquely pretty. Captivating is a good description.

I think what you should do with Taeng is to do a bit of research. Watch her older performances vs her newer performances and breakdown the change in her technique and style over the years as she matures as an artist. Even at this age she's already a veteran of the industry and no matter what anyone says about her, they can't say that she can't sing.

Taeyeon loves performing live with her band that's why she's so relax and confident in singing. Also her albums and singles are so amazing. No skips because all of them are beautiful, powerful and emotional.
I love Taeyeon so much. She really is that storyteller that takes you places without having to understand a word she sings.
I always cry everytime i heard ‘I’ because of how beautiful her voice is, the music and the message of the song. All her music especially ballad & ost, they can connect to audience in a way that even if you don’t fully understand the lyric you still feel the emotion and you’ll get emotional. There are reasons why SM treasure her, there are reason why JYP name her as one of the best, why every idol look up to her.

Taeyeon has never once failed to deliver a good performance even when she's sick. I highly suggest you watch her performances at her concert for Fine, UR, Gravity, Time Lapse. She also sang When We Were Young in Begin Again.
Listen to all of her albums. I especially love her My Voice album, but Purpose, What Do I Call You and INVU albums are a close second. While the rest, although not my favorite, are still great to listen to.

Hotel Del Luna topped TV charts much bcs of IUs performance, it is an EXCELLENT drama, and it’s OST topped music charts bcs of Taeyeon’s incredible delivery.

I've been her fan since I was a child. She's is now a very experienced vocalist rn. After years, her voice, the color of it changes and evolved but her unique traits are still there and get better each and every comeback.
I wish I could match you. I didn't first hear her until I was middle-aged, but I might match you on the date: I first heard her in 2010 and instantly became a fan and searched on-line for everything I had missed by not finding her when she debuted in 2007.

I am really proud of being Taeyeon’s fan whenever I saw this kind of video.
I believe the year was 2015 and GG came to New York. They visited Best Buy and they had a touring bus waiting for them outside. I was able to see Tiffany, Yuri, Hyoyeon & Taeyeon. Honestly they were all beautiful, but Taeyeon had this extra-ness to her that I really can't explained. Her vibe and energy in person is so interesting, she looked so uniquely pretty. Captivating is a good description.
