Yeri, Wendy and seulgi have writing credits. Also yeri and Wendy won an award for a song they wrote. Seulgi wrote an entire song by herself and it was chosen by SM for her solo

one of my favourite thing about Red Velvet is they also do their adlibs for their live performances instead of just letting the backing track do it, which I think adds more to the quality of the performance.
I hope dingo tones down the use of overproduction and very loud backing tracks. I was kinda sad that most of the songs they sang have very loud backing tracks. RV slays live vocals and the very loud backing track was so unnecessary.
agreed. most of the shows really started to produce too much. It´s Live as well. I am super disappointed from it because for good singers it is literally almost an annoyance. I can tell Wendy absolutely HATED it.
Totally agree. I was so excited when I saw Red Velvet doing dingo. I was happily watching it then I realized that it felt like I was just listening to a studio version or an MV and not live vocals since the backing track was so loud or the sound processing was too much. Anyway I still enjoyed it seeing them perform together again.
Not to mention the autotune. It really messed up some of Suelgi's vibrato and sensitive parts. Same with Yeri. Some groups sound great with autotune, but groups like rv, mamamoo It's not really making it any better and they dont need it
True. I have watched a lot of dingo performances and the only 2 that stands out for me is EXO and MAMAMOO since I can hear much less backing track and autotune on their dingo performance. If you watch EXO and MAMAMOO and compare it to other k-pop group dingo performances side by side the difference on the production is really obvious.
Wendy was already a very good singer from debut but she continues to get better and better. She continues to surprise me. The ease in the way she hits those notes is illegal

I don’t know what technical limitations you’re talking about with her, i just think she sang that song beautifully and her voice is awesome😅she’s not worse than anybody at RV..just different. She really stands out when all 5 are singing and her voice really cuts through the mix which is why her voice is def my favorite of the 5

our yeri has 1 solo song called "Dear Diary", a very special song to her and composed by her!!! its a ballad song that expresses sympathy with the support and gratitude expressed to her twenties. also "Nap Fairy", a collab with Sam Kim. both songs are part of a project called "SM Station". she has some collaborations but i really recommend these songs for you to know more about her colors!
I ALWAYS listen to Irene rap more than once on RV songs. She has that charm, the husky voice but with power, i was trying to find the right words to describe the feeling, and hear it from a profissional makes me so happy, i'm not a profissional, but i really want to study music someday.

I hardly have a group that i really want to stan (except SHINee), but sometimes its on my mind that RV is really miracle that happend in SM, its not like other group in SM is not unique but RV is different, especially from all of these discography we have heard, even if theres another group in the same era that is much more known than them, i dont care, these girls truly give songs with vocals that just priceless, even if im not that fan on red style. This is why i really hope they can be as a music artist for a long time.
Red velvet really are family imagine despite of 10 yrs they still stick tgtr and if they have project individual like Joy sometimes still she didn't leave RV so as the rest . If other grp members like that they aren't care to their group anymore bcoz they are busy choosing Acting. Like example SNSD and u see Eunwoo frm Astro look at his group actually they were popular too but haitus makes them underrated bcoz eunwoo choose his acting career instead of his member and music... RV are one of the strongest 3rd gen idol whose still tgtr so as Mamamoo they debut 2014 the rest of their gen only debut 2015 and 16 .
you need to listen to Joy in the drama " The liar and his lover" Ost or watch the Drama. Joy in this Drama led me to Red Velvet. She really displays her talents at a young age. Like IU and Bae Suzy in JYP's Dream high.

I just realized half-way through this video, I'm learning a lot with singing techniques from the reactor. Since I also sing, its really interesting to listen to her explain about all the different sounds, placements etc. Since I personally never had any vocal training, this video alone is teaching me many stuffs. Anyway I never realized Red Velvet songs were this complicated. They are indeed talented and very skilled. Of course SM idols.

I hardly have a group that i really want to stan (except SHINee), but sometimes its on my mind that RV is really miracle that happend in SM, its not like other group in SM is not unique but RV is different, especially from all of these discography we have heard, even if theres another group in the same era that is much more known than them, i dont care, these girls truly give songs with vocals that just priceless, even if im not that fan on red style. This is why i really hope they can be as a music artist for a long time.
Red velvet really are family imagine despite of 10 yrs they still stick tgtr and if they have project individual like Joy sometimes still she didn't leave RV so as the rest . If other grp members like that they aren't care to their group anymore bcoz they are busy choosing Acting. Like example SNSD and u see Eunwoo frm Astro look at his group actually they were popular too but haitus makes them underrated bcoz eunwoo choose his acting career instead of his member and music... RV are one of the strongest 3rd gen idol whose still tgtr so as Mamamoo they debut 2014 the rest of their gen only debut 2015 and 16 .

I just realized half-way through this video, I'm learning a lot with singing techniques from the reactor. Since I also sing, its really interesting to listen to her explain about all the different sounds, placements etc. Since I personally never had any vocal training, this video alone is teaching me many stuffs.
