    Thanks for your reply. Yes, the only way I knew to fix the problem was to virtually start over by creating 32 separate files to set the project up as a book file. Then format and tidy each one. Ah, traps for young players!

      That sucks. I’m trying to think of a way around starting over, but that’s a super unique problem. If I think of something I’ll leave you another reply. Otherwise, good luck.

    Wish this worked, but with a 250 page book, it creates a new file alright, but plonks all the text back in and adds new pages for all the text. I wanted to overcome page order problems by turning a long file into separate files and treat it all as an ID book file.

      Hello. Yes, unfortunately I don’t think this script it set up to do something like that because all your text would have to flow back in. That is unfortunately a limitation of the script. More than likely you would need to fix your pagination issue directly in the original InDesign file. Sorry it didn’t help.
