Not much of an interview, but always glad to see Coach B. Even more than her impressive hoops legacy, what I appreciate about Lisa is her commitment to, and recognition of, all of the young women in her charge. She advocates for them in their academic/professional pursuits beyond basketball, and encourages her players to be whole people, not just cogs in the wheel of college sports. Love you Lisa. One of the very best in a long line of great Iowa coaches. Hope you enjoy your retirement, you definitely earned it.

So many want Bluder to come out of retirement and coach the Fever. The WNBA is a different animal than NCAA. Would be a different coaching style...something Bluder would have to really get accustomed to. Not sure she'd be successful ASAP like everyone thinks she would be. I like Bluder...think over time she'd be phenomenal...but also think there would be a huge adjustment from the start. Then add in the EGO attitude of professionals. This is reason some men's college coaches never make the jump to NBA. Enjoy your retirement Coach Bluder as not sure coaching in WNBA is for you....one of your skills was building character of young athletes...WNBA are "grown women"...independent.

Whoever picks up this job knows that it’s a 2 year process at the minimum but I think she could be a GM or something. Never know she might get the itch to coach again

@@breezybreeze12 Isn't Sides in her 2nd year. First year she took them from 5-31 to 13-27. This year so far 7-11...so will see improvement of record and I believe make playoffs. People want her fired. Don't they realize a new coach we start from square one and still may be with the same record. Getting back Temi and now from what people say Dantas....looking for exciting games. Not sure Bluder would settle for sitting on sidelines as a GM...she's a player coach.

I doubt her coaching style would work with 25-30 year old women. Could she adjust?
