Excellent content and you’re a direct, straight to the point, yet your delivery is in a professionally perfect, yet, a very relaxed and easy to grasp manner. Thank you for this. Secondly, I have to tell you..I looked at details in order to get the download, BUT!!.. what caught my attention,…& held it for quite awhile.🤔I has looked at the titles of each section that you were covering, but, my attention took a turn as I looked at the times in minutes and seconds🤔 wait a minute! I admit that I was honestly perplexed, I literally calculated time off each section to the next, while listening to you, then looking at where the video was at currently, & then looking at where it ended. I saw a section where you used 87 seconds,😳🤔 then i saw you do a section in 37 seconds 😳😳😳😳😳🤝😮.WOW!!💥💥💥💥 that was highly impressive, and every second was direct and straight point, yet relaxed, and very concise.

Thanks! And very impressive review. You'd be surprised how much you can get into just a few seconds. I get practice on this with a Minecraft gaming channel I have where I do 30 second videos. You need to be precise and focused to get everything in just 30 seconds.

Thnx for the lesson. - Can I lower my downloaded music to listen to certain parts of my video clips?
Sure, you can adjust the volume and also add a fade in or fade out to a music track. If youi want to have the music lower for part of a video move the playhead to the point you want it to have a lower level and hit the cut icon on the play line, then move to where you want the volume to be louder again and cilp the music track at that point. This gives you 3 music clips on the same music track. Now all you have to do is to lower the volume on the middle track.

I'm using on Windows and I love it except I can't see the bottom of the screen.
I can see the video track, and just the top half of the audio track.
I've added text to a video, I'm assuming the text track is below the audio track because I can't see it, or edit it.
Now I've added text and I can't remove it.
Any ideas
Try hitting the maximize button for the window in the upper right corner, that should fit it to your screen.
wonderful George, great tutorial video, appreciate one more thing want to ask you, how to add pictures in between the video.
Simply go to the Pictures folder and drag a picture onto the timeline, then drag in your next video segment. Pictures are added exactly the same way as video elements.

george when using vlogger how do i stop that stupid bell w the info from opening, EVERYTIME i do a project it opens and gets in the way
No way to stop that, it is one of the small prices you pay for using free software.

@@HTGGeorge is there a way to change the speed of the fade in fade out on proc , owen shot has selectors like fade in fast slow fade in out fast slow and how do u do it
I wanted to add a flare to move from one end to another how is it possible
I don't know of any way to do that in any free video editing program.
@@HTGGeorge I had purchased the minitoolmaker but it seems it needs more functions like a bit of motion graphics, moving one element from end to another and crossfade, it's bit of novice video editor. But yes It does most of the work although I have Filmora Pro with me it hangs a lot hence i bought this one and had used its free version and it really gets the job done for small projects. Any insights from any visitor will be beneficial. Thanks and Merry Christmas to all.

@@SatinderSatsangi Mini Tool Moviemaker is as you say a great little editor for smaller projects which makes it very good for YouTub videos. For more advanced stuff you will need a more professional video editing program.
Can you put an empty gap in MiniTool Movie Maker?
No.
Just wondering is the music on MiniTool movie maker 6.0 royalty free, meaning if I upload a video with the music on my UA-cam channel , I won't get copyright strike on UA-cam, right? Also, can you do picture in picture on this app...??.
I only recommend using music from the UA-cam music library on UA-cam, or purchase the music from a stock music library. I would not trust any other source. UA-cam loves to demonetize videos because of music. No, you can't do picture in picture with this app. If you want to get fancy you should get a paid app. The least expensive but good video app is Premiere Elements, runs about $100. Davinci has a free version but it is very limited.
@@HTGGeorge Okay thanks ...this app does have paid plans , so can the paid plans have picture in picture...and when you say youTube music library you mean I should download the music , then i can put it in the video, while I'm still editing, because I don't want to edit my video once and then edit again on UA-cam editor before uploading on to channel...

@@e.o.a101 Take a look at this video editor instead, it is free and is actually very feature rich, it is the VideoProc Vlogger. Here is one of my videos about that ua-cam.com/video/IfAkcRHMkcg/v-deo.html. Of all the free video editors I have reviewed it is the best. It easily does picture in picture, green screen, animations, has a great sound editor built in and more. Really a good program. If I had to use a free program this is the one I would choose. Don't use the UA-cam editor, unless you like banging your head on the wall, worst editor on the market. It is only good for one thing and that is to remove a section of a UA-cam video that is already live and that has enough views that you don't want to just delete the video and put up a cleaned up version. UA-cam has a music library that is free and safe to use on UA-cam called the UA-cam Audio Library, you may have to do a search for that as it is a bit hidden at the moment. They also have a new service called UA-cam Music where you can license music for use in your UA-cam videos but it is a bit of a scam and would basically wipe out your ad revenue, so I don't recommend that.
Could you explain how to use the templates? Nothing seems to happen when I click on a template.
Choose a template, then click Next below the template, then select one or more movie clips from your computer. The template will then open with those clips. These templates are just a framework to put video clips into. This isn't a form of AI where it will build your video for you. Some other programs can do that to some extent but not MiniTool.

Great Tutorial. Is it possible to use different music for different clips in my movie? If so, how is this done?
You can put individual music clips under your different video clips, but since you can't do transition effects on music I would recommend a different editor like the free VideoProc
@@HTGGeorge Thank you very much for your reply. That's disappointing to hear. I was able to use different music and do transition effects using Windows Movie Maker. I just faded the music out before the transition started. I absolutely love Windows Movie Maker, but I'm having a problem (no sound) with it now and am looking for a new editor to replace it.
@@MNM14ful Out of all the free video editors I like VideoProc the best. I could run my channel with VideoProc without too much trouble. It runs more like a paid program than a free program. But... paid programs are always the best option, if this is anything other than a hobby for you then you really should get a paid program. I personally use Camtasia.
@@HTGGeorge Thank you for your insight. Video editing is just a hobby for me. I usually only edit vacation videos that I shoot on my action camera. But, I will give VideoProc a try.
kinda reminds me of open shot. question for output 2 or 3 min, 1st THREE movie is unlim ? 4 up is maximum of 2 minutes? i was thinking , for a GIF editor which this be perfect , most i made are like few seconds to 2 mins
This editor is a lot of fun, and free, but there are now better alternatives, for instance the VideoProc Vlogger program is a very capable video editor and is also free.
@@HTGGeorge im looking for a software that can OPEN GIFS speed up or slow down gifs then output them can proc do that? IMPORT GIF > SLOW DOWN/SPEED UP > OUTPUT GIF or at least GIF as MP4, most my gif makes are either import video to gif or picture to gif but i cant find on THATS TOTALLY FREE NO LIMITS to import gif change speed then output incase i find apremade gif and want change speed
@@cootmaster What you want to do is to convert the gif to mp4, change your speed, then save back to gif. I don't know of any program that will change speed of a gif directly.
@@HTGGeorge what i want do 2 things 1 i have a few free GIF makers because my other program ,photoscape , bombed and mt antiviruse marked it unstable app. anyway , Qgif is nice but ONLY IMPORTS VID->GIF and SSSuite is pics ->GIf , and both can change the speed and save as gif. Im looking for a way to IMPORT a gif > change speed >save it as the same gif Mini took has OUTPUT for gif
@@cootmaster Never tried any of those programs, so can't comment on that. Not sure why you want to save as the same file, you should save to a new file, that keeps the original safe, just in case. MiniTool can import and export gif animation files, but it can't change the speed of gif files.
How can I add a voice over like a narration using a mic
You can't do that in the free MiniTool MovieMaker program I suggest looking at VideoProc Vlogger instead ua-cam.com/video/IfAkcRHMkcg/v-deo.html
Is there a way to add only music?
You can add music to a video track, but this isn't a sound editing app so you can't work with just music. A great free sound editing app is Audacity.
How does this compare to premiere elements?
Hi Dorothy, since Premiere Elements is a paid program and MovieMaker is free there really isn't any comparision. If you can afford a paid program then don't even think about the free ones.
@@HTGGeorge Thank you. I've used Premiere Pro in the past and was looking at Premiere elements as my 30.00/ mo one year of Creative Cloud ended. I really don't need it but was curious. I do a website and use Dreamweaver and I was using the full PS via the Photography plan pf PS and Lightroom but am questioning if I need it over PSE for what I am doing. I have an old copy of PSE 13 but it lacks some features so I was looking at PSE 2023. I'm torn as 79.00 every year for an upgrade seems rich vs 9.99/mo for PS. PSE has some things I like such as the photo bin. Such decisions ;=) I'm enjoying your videos - thank you.
@@dorothy135 Hi Dorothy, I am always amazed at how much the free programs can do, but they can't replace paid programs. I currently use Camtasia Studio but I am not that happy with the recent updates, they are trying to make it more consumer friendly and it ends up being less capable. I have used Premiere Pro in the past but never liked it, just like Photoshop I found it top heavy and slow. I have heard good things about DaVinci but I haven't tried it myself. I could do fine with Photoshop Elements if I was limited to that, it isn't as powerful as more expensive programs but it is a lot better than the free ones.
How can i record an voice over to my video while editing in minitool movie maker?
Minitool Movie Maker doesn't have a record function, so you can't record a voice over using Movie Maker. Another good free video editing program that does allow recording of audio is VideoProc Vlogger, I have a video about that program here ua-cam.com/video/IfAkcRHMkcg/v-deo.html
and yet, it can't blur or black box frames/segment.
You are right, MovieMaker is very limited, but then what do you expect for free? Try this instead VideoProc Vlogger.
Can i import gif stickers in MiniTool MovieMaker ?
Sure, click on the Media button, then Import Media Files. You can import any media this way, gif stickers, animated gifs, mp4 files, image files, etc. If you import an animated gif it will not loop, so you would either need to create a longer gif, or put it on the timeline several times to get a looping effect.

Not with MovieMaker. Any of the paid video editors can do stuff like that.

Why doesn't this app enable picture in picture, it's a good software, but that's one thing that's missing.
Its a free app, don't expect too much. I instead recommend VideoProc Vlogger, which is also free, but a lot better and can do picture in picture. But for real editing you need a paid program.
@@HTGGeorge Hello, I just checked on video proc vlogger and it also suggests another app called video proc converter, so can't I convert videos on proc vlogger??? or do I need to download both apps, I also research that proc vlogger is FREE (forever), But the proc converter is not......
@@HTGGeorge BTW video proc vlogger keeps removing the video while I'm editing , the video is there on the track but when I play the clip all it shows is a black screen and the text input ...no audio and PIP as well....I exported the video and the same thing happened.........😧😧.
@@e.o.a101 In most cases you will not need the converter.
@@e.o.a101 It sounds like you have something on a track above the video that is blocking the view of the video, or you have the video track hidden. If the track is hidden you will still see it in the editor but it will not display.
Is there any way to add an image overlay?
You can add graphics from the included clip art set, but you can't add your own images.

No, its just Windows

Also Free to Use. I recorded this video in the Free version, without a key.
The free version is limited to 2 minute or less videos, which is why I said this would be great for UA-cam shorts.

Totally useless tool, you cant add elements ver 7.3.0 , Making new Track, trying Drag and Drop, try + after download!!!
I actually prefer VideoProc Vlogger in the free editor category. But if you really want to do video editing you should get a paid program. Right now I am using Camtasia Studio but I am testing DaVinci.
