Invasions mode is the best thing Rebellion added in SE5 and arguably the best thing they added to the series. Sure it's not perfect but it's hella fun. Looking forward to see how it will progress in SEResistance.
Agree 100% Maybe make the focus in medium and hard less powerful. As invader I would wish to give some orders to soldiers to act more offence / defence In authentic it shouldn't be allowed to tag permantely for invaders. But overall an amazing mode!
It was the early 80's when I saw "Zardoz". I was growing up in California. I'd just broken My leg at school. I was high on intravenous opiates late at night, and there He was. James Bond in his thigh high boots, banana hammock, and ponytail. Any other actor never would have survived. Of course I watched the whole thing. That's when I knew there was more to England than the Beatles and Benny Hill.
I saw it just after I finished uni. I was a film student, so I’d watched many different kinds of films and I thought I was prepared for anything. I was not prepared for Zardoz.
In invasion mode I block people that I see are skill level campaign 40 and aren’t playing on hard, authentic, or custom difficulty. Who else here does the same? Love your videos by the way Duckwit, which is why I keep coming back here.
@@floridahighwaypatrol7713 Interesting idea, I like it! With the proviso that I’ve invaders playing on Custom that must have set all the same Civilian settings, because all the AI were basically asleep.
27:51 can’t do that with a controller. The difference mouse & keys make. The map knowledge is a great leg up. Hope the new game has map design as good as these.
I like using the German Spotter with a cap, since the colors blend well with foliage, my head doesn’t shine since I’m not wearing a helmet, and my face is covered so my pale skin won’t give me away
@@Burnzy_YT I assumed it was out the window but it does look like it came out of the wall. AP combined with focus is a possibility, but I can’t be certain of that.
Duck, I have discovered something interesting Liberation, and if you go to the 1st spawning place, you can actually kill the American soldiers I have only found this out today
I have been told by someone before that this is possible on Liberation, but I’ve never done it myself. I think next time I invade that map I’ll have to try it!
Yeah, it does that sometimes when you join someone’s game and it synchronises your game with theirs. I think it’s supposed to have done it before the fade-in though!
i'm also at zero kills after my recent data loss. but i still have the perks and stuff for some reason.. i thought i should do at least the 100 kills before the resistanse release.
Duck, WTF is/was Ron Marston? I feel like I should know, and I’ve spent more than a few minutes googling the name, to no effect. Cheers on another fun vid!
It’s a play off John Marston, famous protagonist of the Red Dead Redemption games who is a former gunslinging outlaw leveraged by the US government to hunt down his former gang mates. I mixed him with Ron Swanson from Parks and Recreation, another character who is famously anti-establishment. Seemed appropriate for the joke (the joke being that an image of John Marston slowly rolls onto the screen then I say his name is ‘Ron’ and his face changes to a guy named Ron).
I never even noticed that. You can't carry one as a secondary so it must be a glitch... He's also got a Welgun that is intersected within it, and the panzerfaust itself looks a little bit oversized to me. Never seen that before, but then I'm also not surprised. 😂
No, the invader cannot access the areas they are in, which is why if the player had still been in the church roof, I would have left the match. I've had a couple of players just camp up there waiting for me to climb up, but the invader gets a mission boundary warning near the drainpipe, and the same with the other pilot locations. Invader can't get in. The open window into the area of the church roof where the pilot is doesn't allow grenades through either, they just bounce off like its a wall.
@@TheRealAD45 I play on PC, so for me it’s the C key to toggle between first person/third person aiming, on Xbox I think it’s Y and on PlayStation I think it’s triangle. Press one of those whilst aiming and it should swap between the two modes. It doesn’t work on SE4 or any previous game in the series as those games are locked to third person only on secondaries and pistols.
Not recently, but that is my policy because not only do I not want to highlight those practices, I also don’t want to be the reason any of those players get harrassed. I originally stopped making these because at one point there was a lot of that going on and it’s really not my thing. Since restarting I have had tremendous luck matching against some really cool people. The last session I did only had 2 matches with no outcome, which is a first. The problem with Spy Academy is that if you spawn at the top its almost whole marathon you need to run, and if you reach the bottom Karl is dead bc of the AI😐
Can’t beat invasion mode. I have had great games on it and it’s definitely enhanced sniper elite. I don’t know whether I’ll play invasion first or the campaign for resistance. The one thing I don’t know is what happens with invasion when Karl triggers a propaganda mission. I assume they can’t if they’re in a match.
@@Henry-r2m5t Playing the campaign first obviously is an advantage in knowing what objectives Karl has, etc. I played through SE5 twice, on SE and Authentic) before trying Invader, in part because I had a very limited internet connection, no broadband.

@Louismsb0907 do it, depending on the time try to choose a region. West Europe always is challenging

I hope they add more variations of the skins. I’d like to play the German sniper but with a different face or equipment.
The mine at the end of the zipline is what we call a "real duck move."
I completely agree with that because no one has ever fallen for it, which is the most duck thing ever.
Great video Duck, Its never fair well to Sniper Elite 5 💚
